I'm still here! I watch until the very end every time and I check all the time to see when you have your next video up. I have learned so much from you and it helps me run my business Hobble Creek Pottery better. Your post where you received the stamp from Justin was life changing. So far, Justin has made me two stamps that are awesome! He is simply amazing. I had stamps made from a previous place and it was frustrating, to say the least. Justin fixed all the issues and now I'm stamping my mugs like crazy. Thank you for sharing all the things about running your pottery business. I know in this video you said that to show all the test tiles and what they were would be boring, but not to me. I had my pad and pen ready to take notes. :) Let me know if you ever plan to share your list of your glaze tests. I'm trying to find those perfect combos (since I love the drips too) so that I can streamline my glazing and save time and kiln shelves.

I always stick around. I love seeing how pottery fits into the context of life, so the ends of your videos provide context. Your enthusiasm is very much appreciated. I have been throwing pottery off and on for almost 14 years, with huge breaks in between due to having kids and working. But I just got my first wheel at home and I have been watching your videos and many others on you tube to get motivated and feel connected to my fellow potters. Thank you for sharing your life.

Finally! Someone that talks! I love your spirit of experimentation! You seem to me like a free spirited, sort of a hippie guy that has a lot of fun doing what you do! Enthusiasm is contagious! And what i got from this video, is, it is OK to experiment, even if sometimes you fail, because eventually you may ":get lucky". And my favorite piece was the cup with the red flecks peeping out from under the dark, or overlaid on the dark, whatever the case may be, that was a really nice effect. Thanks for the cool video!

While I have a Twitter account, I rarely have anything to share, so I really don't use it much. I have sculpted and thrown pottery and cast ceramics for years now, but my studio is unusable right now - it desperately needs a rebuild, as it's an old barn that's only usable a few months of the year - so I get to live vicariously through you. I really enjoy watching you unload your kiln - it's like a Christmas morning type of excitement every time you open that lid, because you can never quite be sure what you're going to get. :D (Loved the bowls!)

I’m totally here!! Haha you know that though! Shout out to the die hard fans from day one ( or so). I hope you get some really cool combos. Honestly I found most glazed won’t drip willingly, outside of those combos you already have. So the addition of some Mayco flux after 1st glaze just on rim can really change things up. But I know extra step and extra cost. I add Ali item extra flux right where I want the long drips to go. Anyway later dude!

Jon- I bought a kiln when I was 13 and still have it. I’m now 53. I haven’t used it in 15 years maybe. It has a cone sitter. Old school. I only fired cones 03 and 06. Nothing hotter. And 15 years ago that made my electric bill go up $50. Do you have a special permit or business use allotment on your electricity so you get better rates or is my kiln so old it’s no longer energy efficient? 😬
