Thanksgiving 1978 - My Mother in law and My sister In Law had a knock down drag out fight on the floor of the kitchen, and my Father in Law jumped in for proper measure...all of this in front of my 2 year old son. Thanksgiving 1983 - My sister got totally s4it faced and told off the entire family and left the house with her husband at 3 am to drive back home (which was 1000 miles away). Thanksgiving 1990 - In our family 3 people have the same first name. I needed to get my brother's attention ( he is one that has the same name) and I used his first and middle name to get his attention. He hates his middle name. When he came into the kitchen he punched me hard in the arm... mind you we were both in our 30's at the time. Thanksgiving 2003 - Went to dinner at my parents' home with the whole fam damily. Dad was dying of cancer and was in a hospital bed in the living room. My brother was the main cook and he had 2 different dressings, one for his vegan daughter, and the other for the rest of us. I asked him his recipe for the vegan dressing because it tasted really good. He punched me in the arm and told me to shut up, because both dressings were the same. He was trying to fool his daughter into eating meat. Thanksgiving 2008 - Went to my brother's house (you know this is already starting out bad) and his wife was drunk and told me the whole miserable rotten story of their marriage, including their lack of a sex life. I have a Stouffer's lasagna in the fridge and I can make nice spinach salad this year as I eat it on an Aluminum TV tray and binge watch HULU. !!/:) Everyone have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving !

How many pieces were advertised on the box art VS. how many pieces were actually in the meal? I swear these food manufacturers are getting away with murder when they under supply the meals with the signature item. If the box shows more than 5 pieces of turkey then it should HAVE at least 5 pieces of adequate size based off of the picture on the box...at LEAST. Or maybe manufacturers should start putting the number of actual signature food items in the list of ingredients? I'm just looking for honesty when I buy a frozen meal, that's all.

It's because people think they are getting something of quality. They don't know and the white meat is still injected with water and filler, even though it looks legit. An easy way to add more veggies to this meal (a common problem with frozen entrees) would be to get one of those shrinkwrapped microwavable sweet potatoes from the produce department (they nuke right in the shrinkwrap), or possibly a small package of frozen vegetables (either something packaged as single-serve, or one of those approx. 10 oz. boxed Green Giant frozen vegetable sides. (Even one of those 12 oz. "steamable" bags of frozen veggies wouldn't be bad, if you liked that kind of vegetable.) Then add a small container of cranberry-orange relish from the deli, or a can of cranberry sauce (there will be leftovers), and a single-serve slice of pie from the frozen foods aisle, and you're ready to feast!

Where I'm from (Rural GA) the words "dressing" and "stuffing" are definately NOT the same thing and do not depend on where its cooked. Dressing is made out of crumbled cornbread. Stuffing (which is still stuffing even when not cooked in something) is made out of bread croutons and also tends to have more herbs in it. You typically make both as some family always prefers one over the other.

What you do that Greg didn't do is keep an open mind. Greg subconsciously thought to himself that if he paid less for something, it automatically would taste like shit. He's mostly right on that, but in all honesty, to expect mastery in a lab produced frozen product is a tad unrealistic.

These large portion individual dinners can be a crapshoot. I LOVE the chicken/broccoli alfredo. It does need salt and pepper, but you have to understand what's too much/not enough seasoning for you is not enough/too much for others. The base level flavor is good. I'd give Stouffers a 8 out of ten automatically every time for consistency and out of the package flavor.

Stouffer's doesn't screw around when it comes to quality. They tend to give you high quality ingredients but not a lot of the high-quality ingredients that you probably want. Like in this video, you get some pretty decent turkey and also some really good mashed potatoes. Even high quality mashed potatoes don't cost that much to do right so you get a lot more of something like that and a lot less turkey. Still, I think I'd rather go for the quality over some of the bottom of the barrel stuff other manufacturers go with.
