Another one worth tracking down is The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984), Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Burt Young, I'm surprised Roberts didn't have a better career. Another one I watched recently in similar vane was State of Grace (1990), Sean Penn, Gary Oldman. It came out the same year as Goodfellas, so kind of gets forgotten about.

I saw that ages ago (big fan of Micky Rourke early stuff) can't remember too much about it though 🤔 yeah his movies seem to be generic straight to video releases sadly!! It proves he is a skilled actor on this movie 👍👍 yeah State of Grace is a brilliant movie, was blown away by that back I'm the day mate 😊😊👍👍

Your room seems to get a lot of sun. Do you notice any fading on slipcovers? I've had a couple fade due to sunlight.

I tilt my blinds away from the sun all the time Colin, the only time I tip the blinds to me is when I shoot a video, so the sun rarely touches them so (touch wood) they are all pretty decent 🤞🤞🤞🤩🤩🤩 cheers Colin 😄👍

I saw the movie "Lenny" on vhs long ago. So long I don't remember much about it. I am a massive Dustin Hoffman fan. My favourite movies of his is "Marathon Man" and "Midnight Cowboy" both classic movies I have on dvd and watched numerous times. I have the soundtrack to Midnight Cowboy on vinyl & on cd. Great music ! You got a good couple of movies there John. ... and you had to get them from Australia ? ... One place I never thought to look. Great video ! Thanks John ! Regards Jim

I kind of remembered a lot of the stand up, but not too much of the back story 🤔🤩👍 yeah Dustin Hoffman is pretty much solid in everything I've seen by him 🤔😊😊👏👏 that soundtrack is brilliant, big Harry Nillson fan 👍👍 Imprint is a great label and they release some amazing movies that don't get much live in the UK 🤔🤩 well worth a nose through their catalogue Jim 🤔🤩🤩👌👌

@@MondoChelloveckMovies Hi John, I'm also a big Harry Nilsson fan. He was known as the 5th Beatle. They loved his music and vice versa.I think everyone knows about his lost weekend with John Lennon. I have a very rare vinyl album I bought soon as it was released..."Son of Dracula" also featuring Ringo Starr. It's a mini play with speaking parts + all the sound effects for each scene + music tracks. Great album. The cover is Dracula's cape folded over the cover that opens up showing the full picture of Nilsson as Dracula.....Well John. guess what movie I am watching ? .. "Violent Night" ... I'm about halfway through. Laughing my head off. Loving it. I got interrupted with a phone call and now just checking my u.t posts & notifications. Gonna grab a coffee and get back to the movie.Cheers John !! Enjoy the rest of the weekend. 😀👍 Jim

Great buy mate, 'Lenny' is an incredible movie one of my favourites I'll have to get myself a copy. The last Twilight Time release cost me a load, but Imprints will be well worth it. The way Fosse directs the documentary/interview segments is just perfect, really original movie, as are all his movies to be fair lol But there's nothing quite like 'Lenny'. Cheers

I knew Lenny was a great movie and I was surprised I remembered so much about it! Twilight Time's prices seem to always be CRAZY!!! 😲😲 this edition is brilliant!! Love the slip box 👌👌 I agree with the look and direction of the movie, taking you on a lookback documentary, then switching to real time! Really great to do that with Lenny! Yeah really is one of a kind John 🤩🤩👏👏

Check out “best of the best” with Eric Roberts,a great 80’s martial arts film. I have it on DVD at the moment,hopefully in the future it gets a 4K. 🥋👊
