The title doesn't lie. This was breathtaking. These two created absolute madness on the board. Alan walking his King up the board to escape AND attack at the same time was crazy. You can't blame him for Kg3 threatening mate in two and attacking the bishop. Of course Bob found the resource Qe3 to save the day. Thank you guys for this great fight! 🙂

Alan could be real good but he made an obvious hole in his position with e5 ? which started the big attack for Alan , but big credit to him for surviving that insanely difficult position for so long !!!

I am from New York and I was playing some hustlers and I lost a game the same way as Bob had a check that he didn't see... had he saw that check it was GG.... in my case I would of forked his rook and king (but I had to take the pawn with my queen and assistance of my knight... long story short I went to capture a bishop that wasn't in play at all and then all I saw was my pieces flying off the board then a sweet check mate

I had a feeling Allen was not supposed to attack both bishop on white and that pawn in that position... rule of thumb (for me) bishops can always run away did i really come here to take/steal a pawn?

This bishop couldn't run away because Alan threatens mate in two. Under time pressure I would have attacked the same way. Too bad for him that Bob's queen was on fire. 😉

Hey man, I hit the Like button on your videos and watch them everyday ... but can you please change your edit and music? the music and intro are old school (not classic even imo) and are completely not needed. as soon as you intro the music i have to completely mute the video. this channels status is mostly associated with the awesome chess, fun personalities, and the trash talk. the music makes makes me silence all of that. just the op of a fan.

I disagree strongly. Their presentation is perfect for the message that they're trying to convey. It may not be award winning filming but who needs a film award on chess videos? This is actually one of the best chess channels on youtube.

@@viceversa6694 love the people and channel, just not the intro music, or the dramatic loud music inserted mid game. also the editing, for the purpose of the channel i.e. getting more people to come play chess, seems like its done to target the boomer gen. simple, straightforward/minimal editing with less music is what's appealing and inviting nowadays. especially when watching in the morning while drinking some coffee.
