So, I learned this week... that I might be a huge Cory Henry fan. Because the guy that sits in the corner for 2 hours and doesn't speak until spoken to... that is the guy that has the most to say, just usually in the fewest words. These are the men that taught me the most. Going to look you up now brother... I also really appreciated the totally different 2 bears.

I like to call his music breakdown, cause he is the type of musician that would do a let's say jazz standard you've heard a thousand times, but when listening to it it's like he's taking each component of the structure and expanding on it to it's absolute fullest potential. I think it was Giant Steps I heard him do live, which is arguably the most complicated song ever and he plays it in a way that even the most tone-deaf person would understand. Long story short - he is a genius.

One thing I took away from this conversation was that Andrew isn't willing to accept that other people don't necessarily want to optimize literally every aspect of their lives. Like Bert accepted all of the negative things he had to say about alcohol (which are all true) and then rebutted with basically "Yeah I'm not a moron I get that, and I personally think it's still worth doing". Which honestly is pretty fair, he is making an informed choice to live in a particular way.

I love how Tom Segura described the vocals being another instrument so he doesn't hear the words without putting in extra effort. I'm exactly the same but hadn't thought of it in those terms and it's spot on.

Andrew said something about your body trying to move out anxiety and it made me think about how ADHD tends to link to that, many people with ADHD are much more sensitive to emotion so they are more easily stressed so they're more likely to be anxious and more likely to unvolunteerily move to as a response to stress

Clicked on this excited to experience my two favorite worlds - music and comedy - together. It's no exaggeration to say that Cory Henry is one of the best musicians to ever live, so I was hoping to hear from him. Instead I got Huberman pretty much talking the entire episode.

Lol, he's a necessary "evil" figuratively. Would u rather him talking and giving knowledge or Bert's "real" stories🤷🏾‍♂️
