I always wonder why when American companies make millions and millions of dollars in China with companies like Mcdonalds, Starbucks, KFC, NIKE, Adidas, Apple, Ford, GM and so on, is seen as perfectly ok. Starbucks literally has over 7000 stores in China. But when 1 or 2 Chinese companies try to make some profit in America its either national security or over production. Can someone explain?

Apparently you can order it while on the train, and they'll time the delivery to the exact couple of minutes the train is in station so you can get it. Really speaks to not only how efficient their version of doordash/uber eats service is, but also how on time their trains are so they can reliably time their deliveries into these very short windows.

@GoodCitizen-gm1tl15 күн бұрын
@@iangantner6976 KFC is massively successful here in China, much more so than MacDonalds. The reason is that KFC came to China earlier than the other American food brands and they have a straightforward American-face logo and in the old days it was cleverly translated into "Kentucky Hometown Chicken" in Chinese, evoking some cultural emotions about hometowns (Nowadays it's just called Ken De Ji as transliterated from Kentucky). Their TV commercials were also more frequent than MacDonalds. They also adapt to local tastes by including a variety of common Chinese breakfast snacks like congee with shredded pork and century egg slices, youtiao (a type of puffed fried dough stick) and others, which is very well-received by the market. MacDonalds is relatively slower in this regards.

As a Chinese studying in Us,I want to say that Kfc and McDonald in China is totally different from Us, in Us people think McDonald as the cheapest fast food for people,but in china when people want to have some cheap fast food they prefer to eat some traditional Chinese food like noodles and dumplings instead, that only cost about 2Us dollar, but in McDonald a meal deal always costs 4-5Usd. Besides, food in Kfc and McDonald in china is much more delicious and than I tasted in Us😢

I live in China, and as a former employee of the McD's empire during my student days, I vowed never to eat it again once my days there were done. After a few months in China, when I'd been living on nothing but rice, noodles, and all sorts of weird food that gave my guts nightmares for months, I went out for drinks and the guys I was with decided we'd get a late night McDonalds. After a few beers, well, more than a few, I decided what the hell. Look, it's fast food, wherever you go, but the burgers came out hot, were reasonably accurate to the pictures on the menu and the kitchen looked cleaner than most places I ever worked in since you have an open view of what's happening inside. Destroying American fast food? Yeah, I dunno. Maybe just making it to a higher standard. I tell you what though. I can have food of every description delivered to my door in like 30 minutes or less. I'm not a big food lover, but the sheer variety here is incredible. The only thing is that it's difficult to find a full Irish breakfast. That sucks.

Taro is taro (Yu too), it is not potato or purple sweet potato. Red bean pie: Chinese people use red bean to make sweet stuffing for various desert, or just eat it while it is hot or cold as kind of comfort food. The chicken wrap in KFC, it's a mistake to take out the cucumber, and the sauce is called sweet flour sauce, a fermented sweet sauce originated from Baoding, a city close to Beijing. Food on the menu may vary in different regions in the country. KFC and McDonald have pretty good breakfast menu in both Chinese style and American (western) style

Many companies or individuals looking to make money in China often overlook a seemingly minor yet potentially fatal issue: the representation of Taiwan in maps of China. If your video published in China fails to include Taiwan, you risk being permanently banned. Many international corporations have made this mistake before. If you also want to avoid offending the other side, my suggestion is to avoid showing the Taiwan region altogether. Instead, focus solely on the specific area where you are located. Take my advice seriously-it could save your business.
