...I joined the Church of Jesus Christ when I was already married, & attended a branch of the Church in Keyser, West Virginia - I was looking to other women in the Church to figure out how to be a "good" member: every sister it seemed could sew beautiful clothing for their children, grow amazing gardens, (& can their own crops), etc...& felt extremely inadequate, & misery set in as I struggled (@best) to be like "everyone else"...then I began embracing my own uniqueness, background, skillsets**)...(& much HAPPINESS ensued)...When Joseph spoke about finding great happiness & success in using his God-given strengths, I, too, recognized yet another POWERFUL pattern of the LORD

The idea of weak things being our strength was a revelation to me. Thank you for your insights in these difficult-to-understand chapters. It has been very enlightening.

Oh my back to back my mind soared and crashed for Moroni. How grateful I am to that man who despite all his struggles carried on and finished the Book of Mormon for us. I Hope to meet him one day. The comment on love making us vulnerable pierced my heart. Thank you brethren!

It’s interesting to look back with 20/20 hindsight. This past week I was pondering so many of these subjects without “peaking” to the lesson for this week. I feel as if Heavenly Father has prepared me to hear a few very important messages today. Isn’t it wonderful that technology and the financial and other support of many people have made it possible for this middle age mama in a smallish town in Texas (or whatever or wherever fits your circumstance) to take these college level courses on the scriptures? God is so good to us.

Thank you for reminding us that faith is our strength. Just turned 80 and physical strength has diminished so much that faith in the future and hope in eternity is our strength.

I enjoy and am so grateful for all of these podcasts, but this one was my favorite so far. I have never thought of weakness as being a strength. Amazing insights. Thank you! Thank you!

After visiting our brothers and sisters in Kenya and Uganda this last year I've been impressed that at some time the Christians in the Church may feel impressed to help these Saints. We have no idea generally how wealthy the American , Canadian and Eurpean Saints actually are in stark comparison to our world congregation. I believe we are under condemnation. We need a change of heart...are we not all beggars? Has not Christ worked on us? Indeed. Don't know where to give? I have a real list.

So I have a daughter and granddaughter who struggle with anxiety and whenever they tell me they are “fine” I ask them if that means they are “ Freaked out, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional” and that usually makes them quit hiding behind that mask and open up. Maybe we should try that sometimes with our ward members 😂.

I really wish you had tried harder to emphasize the importance of keeping the covenants we make at baptism and in the temple. You worked so hard at helping us get the vision of grace that we were left with little reason to try so hard to show our love for god with our works. Yes it's all about the grace of the savior but we wouldn't get so much counsel on how to live if none of that really matters. I think you left it too unfinished.
