Men or women, making kids live in this is abuse. It also means those kids are being neglected in other major ways. Does anyone think they are fed properly, given adequate and clean clothes, have a decent place to wash, tended to educationally or emotionally to even a normal baseline? Teeth brushed twice daily? Not left alone? A parent who provides this environment usually has no ability to cope in all the other ways either.

Wow! I think one thing I never realized is how much trash comes from junk/fast food. I never really thought about it as I cook and bake everything home made so have very little trash each week. Here in upstate New York we have to recycle all paper, plastic, tin cans and soda/water bottles. I give you so much credit for your very hard work, generosity and compassion for others❤

I’m not judging this person but ironically, ordering fast food is supposed to be an easier alternative so you don’t have to wash and clean dishes yet and most of these rooms they just drop the trash on the floor.

Yes you nailed it. Just go to Mcdonalds and order a family of 4 breakfast. (We do this occasionally when I've run out pf food and hadn't done grocery shop for the week).... The amount of trash from that one meal is insane.

It's not just trash in houses either. I do community litter picks and 90% of the rubbish we collect is fast food wrappers. The companies really need to take some responsibility for it.

It's an amazing thing. I've been struggling with ADHD and depression for a long time and I've only ever had people gaslight me and threaten me when they've seen my house.. I usually am able to keep the living room and kids room clean but usually the kitchen is off limits to everyone because I can't manage it. And while it gets bad, I can still see the floor.. anyway. The fact that you have compassion and are not just condemning ppl for this is pretty amazing. ❤

After watching and listening to Mack, I finally admitted that I have depression for several reasons, and have for a lot longer than I thought. I am not bashing this lady, and understand. But, that’s one thing I refuse to succumb to is old food, wrappers, bottles, etc. lying around. I bag it up or recycle what I can and take it out to the bins ASAP! I saw the bugs flying around and running all over the floor. 😬 I just couldn’t get to that point, and I never have. Barbie, you’re an angel to this lady and everyone in the past and future. My experience is this trashy rooms are 2 years old. All started under covid! It's really sad, but people closed their door and just ordered food. Many people who wasn't healthy in mentalities just had more problems

One idea, something that I do at my home: U can actually make cloth for wiping from old clothes like bed sheetsor t-shirts. I do this always so I don't have to use microfiber clothes or paper towels. Usually in this houses there is clothes that u can throw away so maybe u can clean with these not dirty clothes before you throw them away. I don't know, some people may not like it but it works for me and I wash these clothes again and use them until they are not usable anymore

I have read many articles about how a bad diet can affect not only our physical health, but also our mental health, and I couldn't believe how bad that person's health must be from all the fast food, soft drink cans, and alcohol bottles I saw. Really sad. And then I saw the toddler bed and a few toys. Oh I hope a little child didn't have to live in that horrible, unhealthy environment!

I'm so glad there isn't smell-a-vision, that had to be a bit on the stinky side, but no bugs! I hope the people living there appreciate all your hard work you're a machine when it comes to clearing up mountains of trash. I had to giggle because I'm always worried my baseboards aren't clean enough, but no worries mine are just fine. :)

I would have had to go down to the studs. There is no way that all the mold is gone. Nice job...I wouldn't have had the patience to clean the door and furniture. I would have had to start new.

This is a hard one:( I suffer from depression myself. Watched my uncle die & my mom died suddenly 4 wks later.But NO excuse for an innocent child to live like this.Im not judging but speaking truth. Never let a child suffer from your mental illness or laziness. Thankfully Barbie helped♡ I hope that the mom goes & gets medication to help or family sees this & helps with the child♡ no child deserves to sleep with bugs crawling all over them & in filth:( I pray she gets help. Thank you Barbie for doing this clean! You did awesome ❤ I hope that the mom will get help for her sake & her kids♡ especially when its hazardous to the child
