Thank you so much, I watch on the live cams so it was a pleasure seeing such clear and close film of recognizable bears. I will share with co-workers who are thinking of going next year.

You’re welcome ! I spent a fair bit of time on the live cams before I went as well, great way to check out the bears !

Thank you! One of the very best videos I've seen, capturing all of Brooks Camp, not just the Falls we all love so much. Brought back great memories of walking in your very steps.

Thanks, that means a lot ! You are right the falls are amazing but there is also so much more to see !

I’m going next summer. I can hardly wait. You got a great video of 128 Grazer and her two cubs at the falls!

My coworker got one night in Aug of 2025. I’m already packing 😂 she keeps worrying that it’s August and there won’t be as many bears. I say a pile a skat and a seeing Grazer would make me happy. And Otis, 747,856, 910s and on and on. Have a great trip.

Great video with a lot of great information for those who never had the chance to get there. I will be there for the first time with a group of photographer friends this July and I just shared your video to our group messenger and everyone appreciated all the effort. One quick question, are you fully free to walk along the park without a guide? Thank you for your time and looking forward to watch more of your videos.
@angusexpeditions9940 Жыл бұрын
Thanks ! Yes you are free to walk around with no guide, their are a few rules / guidelines to follow though which they talk you through when you arrive .. I should also mention that during the day there is generally a wait (not overly long) at the brook falls platform, the ranger takes your name and calls you over once it is your turn. enjoy your trip it is unreal !

Aww. I recognize 747s mangled ears anywhere. Great video! When you said it was crazy, was it because bears are all around and that it was unnerving not knowing if they'd pop out?
@angusexpeditions99403 ай бұрын
@@clammeh73 Thanks ! yes I found that part of it pretty crazy - but in a good way ! especially the late afternoons when most had left or gone back to their accommodation, feels pretty wild not knowing what was around each corner, truly incredible place !

Was a 400 length long enough? I am going next July and I have a 150-600 but it is heavy so would rent 150-400 is that is good.
@angusexpeditions9940 Жыл бұрын
Yeh I found 90% of the time 400 hundred was enough for a full frame camera. was the odd occasion where a bit of extra reach would have been nice 🤔

G'day Angus, great to see another Aussie getting amongst it at Brooks. I'm planning a trip this July, wondering if I can get in touch with you and pick your brain. I'm an aussie, living in Truckee California. Cracking video btw

so bears are cruel animals , he strips the skin of that salmon while it's still alive... He should kill the fish first, like normal animals do 🙄

You've never watched the Eagles then, lol- slow peck of death. But in reality "normal" animals don't offer a quick death to much of what they hunt and eat to survive.
