Our 4 year old girl is OBSESSED with fishing. Every Thursday and Friday she’s out on dads boat catching sun fish and perch 🥰

You should go to cape cod. I was up there last year and I caught at least 20 stripers in 3 days with the biggest being over 40, and seriously that was the most fun I’ve ever had. The best part is that we didn’t take a guide, we just put a 5in fluke on a 1/2oz jighead.

I live in SW Pennsylvania (an hour north of Pittsburgh) and we have a hydroelectric dam in the Beaver River right down the hill from my house. When I was a teenager I was fishing down there at around 2:30AM and I watched this older guy fighting something huge. He fought it up to the pier, asked me to hold his rod, reached both hands down in the water, and he pulled out a channel catfish that was almost bigger than him. I would never eat anything out of this stretch of river, but his exact words were, "them's good eatin! This will feed my wife and I for a week."

I used sucker fish. And cut them into peaces..hook em up wrapped in an onion sack mesh so catfish can smell it and the mesh will keep cats from sucking bait off

In Minnesota when fishing in the Mississippi River for cats, when a boat or barge went by and the last waves came ashore I always got bites at those times. I don't know the reason behind it but it was always true.

Great video bud. Them bigger cats are spawning, but its almost over and will heat up big time. It never fails where idiots pass between the boat and the bank and seems to happen more when theres less room between the boat and bank. Just ignorance. Bream is my ultimate bait, for live and or cut. I've had better luck with it in the long run and i figure, why waist the effort on anything else. Also, another great bait to try is deer liver. Works phenomenal, and catches huge cats. Stay slimmy my friend.
