I'm in south Florida. those bass were cute. I haven't run into any aggressive moccasins at all. they've all been pretty chill so far

Yankee transplant, aren’t you? I grew up in Mississippi. It would be abnormal for me not to see a cottonmouth when fishing. At 12 years old I was carrying a .22 fishing just to clean a few out of my fishing holes. Watch the base of the cypress knees. They like to sun there.

We don’t have cotton mouths in western NC the mountains are too high in elevation and too cold. We have copperheads and rattlesnakes.
