2 DEER in 5 MINUTES! Action Packed Saddle Hunt with Compound Bow

I'm compound bow hunting with my new Bowtech Core SS around some bottom land oaks using a tree saddle. From the moment I climbed up the tree, I was in action and continued to see deer the whole sit. Actioned packed hunt that ended up emptying the whole quiver!

Congrats, LFG! I've been working about 70 hours a week from April- October. Zero time for scouting. I did, however, make it out 4 times. Saw one deer each time out and had no luck. Gun season starts here next Saturday, and I have off work the entire 9 days. I will be OUT and not returning until after dark! It's time to put meat in the freezer

I have been there way too many times with my recurve. I have to hunt from the ground(too big for a tree) and we cant bait in ny so my shots are all 25-40 yards so im always searching and have to bring out the dog. If i didnt have a good dog i probably wouldn't of found a bunch.

What an amazing hunt for this day and age brings back memories. You have done something I didn't accomplish with a bow but stacked 4 with a Winchester Mod 94 30/30 opening day Northwest Texas not something you want to do first day of a two week vacation. Way to go ,youngman. I have been on hunt's and have seen shtuff that ,if I wouldn't have seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it. Like the time an owl landed on my head in an old tree stand, or the buck belly crawling so I could not get a shot.. The Great Outdoors is always amazing. Your lucky the pig didn't give you a shot...Next time maybe 4 broad heads... Amazing hunt ..That's deer management at it's best.. God Bless You and Your LOVED ONES.
