Hi Brenon. I just sign up Etsy shop account from your link. But I didn't see the 40 listings while I am on the "Create a listing" page. Do I need to create a listing and finish all the settings?

Hi Brenon! I have a question 🙋♀️ What do you do in your mock-ups in regards to the print scaling that Monster Digital do for the smaller sizes? I feel like some customers might get annoyed if they receive a product that has a smaller print than advertised in the mock-ups. Or if they ordered for a group with a mix of sizes S through to 2XL, the print would look different on all of them. How do you deal with that? Do you list mock-ups with various models shown so customers are aware the print may be smaller on smaller sizes? Thank you in advance!
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Hi! This is a great question. I personally don't make separate mockups because it's pretty typical to have the print scaled down a bit with smaller sizes (the garment itself is smaller so too large of a print won't look good either), but if the printer you're using scales it down a ton, you could consider adding a listing photo explaining it with examples or putting a disclaimer in the description to make customers aware of it. I hope this helps!

@@brenondopp thank you! I’ll add it to my description just in case 👍🏻

Brenon, I am brand spanking new to Etsy and have yet to list anything, as I am knee-deep in research and figuring it all out. Your tutorials are amazing and I am thankful for them. I have a very SILLY question, I am sure. I am trying to buy my first Mock Up. Is there a way to purchase a mock-up WITHOUT having it shipped? I simply want the file to download into Canva. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to purchase it without receiving it. I know I get the file, but I don't want the product. Help! Also - I love your mock-up store. Is there a way to search for a male model that wears certain items? TY, Nicole (Niche Up)

I am from India if I open seller count on etsy can I sell in usa or only can sell in India
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
You may run into issues trying to sell on Etsy if you are from India because Etsy Payments aren’t available for sellers in India. Here is more info on this: help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500006519562-Why-Can-t-I-Open-a-Shop-in-My-Country-?segment=selling I recommend doing more research on this though because I’m not too familiar since I am based out of the USA. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Dear Brenon, Thanks a lot for all your tutorials. They helped me a lot. One issue I'm still struggling with is pricing. If you're not on a Printify subscription, the actual production and shipping costs combined with the 10.5% Etsy fees based on the total price of the product, make it difficult to set reasonable net profit margins (10-15%) for your items, as they would be quite overpriced compared to others. If you sell via Etsy marketing and with the additional 15% fee, you might even make a loss. Any strategies or ideas on that? Thanks.
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian! Honestly, I recommend signing up for Printify Premium if you make enough sales to cover the cost. It is well worth the money to reduce your material costs, especially if you're selling consistently. If you are making $8-$10 a sweatshirt, you only need to sell 3-5 sweaters a month to pay for your premium subscription. If you’re not having any sales at the moment though, I understand why you wouldn’t want to pay for premium. I do believe you have to spend some money to make money! Also remember to not be afraid to charge a few dollars more than other sellers. It all comes down to the design; if you create a design that is unique and different, your customer will be willing to pay a few dollars extra if they love it! I hope this helps! Thanks so much for watching! I wish you the best!

Is there any free mockup images we can make? I know buying mockup directly from etsy is more professional but is there any free mockup images that will be helpful
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
You can make your own but it’s more work, takes more time, and may not look as nice as buying them off of Etsy! You can spend anywhere between $2-$8 and buy some really nice mockups that you can use over and over again. You can also purchase bundles which will save you even more money. Using high-quality mockups will help increase your conversion in your store and make you more money in the end. Placeit has some free mockups you can look through, but they're not as nice and you have to try to match the shirt you're actually selling to the mockups you're using as much as possible, which can be hard. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

digital products are pretty hard to sell imo. I found a decent niche and i have around 30 listings around that niche, i get favourites but not a single sale.
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experience. I think if you can create something unique and different that stands out, you can succeed in any form of business. If you are replicating exactly what others are doing, you will have a hard time getting sales. I recommend keeping with it and increasing your listing count because the more high-quality listings you have, the more chances you have at being found! There is so much opportunity on Etsy today, especially with digital products if you’re willing to put in the work, experiment and not quit too soon! Thanks for watching! I wish you the best! This is your year!

Hello. Great video! I have a question that sticks in my mind... Is there POD platform and e-commerce websites besides Shopify, that doesn't require ID of Verification?
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Printify and Printful do not require ID of Verification unless they suspect some kind of payment fraud. Etsy may require this and do so to help protect you and contribute to the overall safety of the Etsy marketplace; they verify your details when you sign up to sell using Etsy Payments. I would imagine most marketplaces require this type of verification for their sellers but I’m not positive as I primarily sell on Etsy. I hope this helps! Thanks so much for watching!

40 million buyers on etsy,they have more than that,am i wrong?
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I’ve read several different estimates from 40-96 million active buyers in 2022. The number of buyers always fluctuates, so this is an estimate. I played it safe and went with the lower one. 😂 I would guess you’re right though and it is more than 40 million, which is even a bigger reason why people should start selling on Etsy! Imagine having a Shop you put your heart and soul into & one day you wake up and it’s closed, SUSPENDED, for no reason, by AI mistake. You might get it back now, or in 4 weeks or Never.. That is @Etsy for you sellers out there. #etsy faces a big issue with account suspensions by AI error & ghosting their sellers. I am one of those lucky ones. No phone number, no 24/7 life chat available as advertised. As a seller one has to live in constant fear about selling their products on Etsy. Buckle up, you could be next. With good customer service being the essential growth engine for any business, @Etsy does not deliver. While Etsy claims to ‘Keep Commerce Human’ - their treatment and care for their sellers is “inhuman” which is reflected in their less than caring customer service and lack of optimizing their AI systems.
@brenondopp2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for sharing your insight and feelings on this! I definitely agree that Etsy needs to improve both their suspension systems and their customer service. I’ve had my shop suspended 3 times now, so I definitely understand the frustration of it all and feeling like I’m at the mercy of Etsy, but I’m also glad that I didn’t give up when my shop was suspended the first time. Luckily, I was able to get it back each time with patience and persistence and because I hadn’t done anything wrong. This is why it’s important to do your trademark/copyright research so that you make sure you don’t violate anything that could cause you to not be able to get your shop back no matter what. I share Etsy as a great source of income, but I also teach that it’s important to diversify whenever possible for this reason. I still think highly of Etsy and am grateful for being able to sell on their platform, but I do agree with you that some improvements are needed. I’m sorry to hear about your negative experience! The only way I know to contact them as of now is through their Help Center. You’ll need to send them an email or file a suspension appeal. If you can’t access their chat because your account is locked so you can’t log in, you can consider logging on with a different account to contact them and then send them the info of the suspended shop for them to help you or forward you to help. If you didn’t violate any of their policies, you will be able to get your shop back! I wish you the best!
