it is a very interesting tutorial, thank u very much. but I encountered data with all days of a month of a particular year is missed. for example, it seems like let say from the data you used for your tutorial all days of january of 1981 are missing. when I try to fill it the way you fill the xlstat fills only zero value on all days of the January month. please I need help!! Additionally does it has a problem if I use the transpose of the way you arrange the data?

Transpose might create error on prediction. You rearrange the data with similar months to compute the missing value.

Sir, I have 7 stationwise rainfall data in which there are missing data on 2004: Nov and Dec and 2012: January to June of all 7 stations. So which category this missing rainfall data came? Also Is this method is good for filling rainfall data.

Mostly 500 imputations are suggested. You can site articles but 500 number of imputation is enough.

There is no standard. If you increase the number of imputations the effect on the result is less.
