Wonderful lads! Brings back fond memories of my trips back in the late 70’s early 80’s in the same area. Started from Temagami , went out through Gowgama to the Groundhog River. Hopped over to the Missinabi River and ended at Moose River crossing. Rode the same train back to Cochrane! Bravo lads keep up the excellent work!

Ah, totally forgot this was debuting tonight and I was so stoked to get the notification. So funny to have hockey playoffs in August so it was cool to capture that. We were in Quetico so I thankfully missed the buds' annual failure. I know what Eric means about the big sky up there...maybe it's just because it's flatter so the horizon is lower but whatever it is, it's distinct. Awesome start and can't wait for the rest!

Wow! I can't wait to watch the whole thing. I've been up to moosonee, moose factory, and I toured the james bay area by helicopter. Even took the polar Express train through the boreal forest....by far the best experience of my life. I couldn't imagine camping that area!!!!😍

I had a Similar canoe trip paddling white water down the drag river into the burnt river Ontario. It was gripping just to watch you guys do that. Because we had to tackle swifts just like that ALL day!

I'm no Canoeist, I'm more the fishing passionate, so your on the road fly building was impressive.. I just love this part of our country, my spot is Mistassini and Albanel lake region still part of the Cree nation..... can't wait to see the following episode maybe some fishing action.... your beach site reminded me of one of my first beach site on Albanel lake with a small laker with just salt and pepper..... Please keep exploring you make me feel younger ..... Keep safe and keep those incredible images ...... From a Quebec fan....

Had to look up the higher res sat images on the crownland atlas to get a sense of what's really to come....I suspect more than a few portages hahaha. You get any pics of that landslide and gravel bar ~30km upriver from the mouth at James bay?

Our group of 3 adults and 3 young teens did this river in 2008. We camped at the same beach. We counted over 80 rapids from the beginning to end of this fabulous river that can really only be enjoyed at the proper water levels
