This is the Caicedo we see in Ecuador all the time. I’ve seen him dominate Argentina and Brazilian midfields. Caicedo with confidence and on his day is amongst the best midfielders in the world. Of course he has off days but he’s only 22. Imagine a prime 27 year old caicedo…

Caicedo is an enigma. For 70/80 mins he plays unbelievable football and for the rest you see him playing like someone who should never be on that football pitch. Giving the ball away, miss passes, reckless tackles, exposing the defence, horrendous back passes to the keeper and what not. I m never at ease with Cai and Enzo manning our midfield. But Cai definitely is Chels material whereas Enzo is fit to play anywhere rather than in England.

Yeah Jackson has to be scoring every game mate the best strike is in the world score every game they might have a day off one day but it's mainly every game so he has to look at that level Jackson that if he wants to be world class he has to say I have to be scoring a go every game like all these other world-class strikers do round the world not mentioning but Harry Kane Manchester city's Halland sport in Lisbon striker and all the other top strikers in the world real Madrid Barcelona they all do it so the kid has to step up to that level he's getting better and better You look at his statistics They're actually pretty damn good for a guy that's only had his first season last year and got 17 goals that was better than a lot of players that have come to us I don't thinkink Chelsea legend Didier drogba hit 17 goals in his first season no one's going Jackson's back in my opinion It's just the fact that he could have scored 50 goals last season now it looks like he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net and with confidence and move confidence grows and grows more into himself and the fans are behind him the team are behind him and he will just keep scoring goals then but if he doesn't we've still got Christopher in and don't forget there might be a guy called Victor O coming but we might not need him because of Williams from Brazil and Kendrick P plus a couple of boys from the Americas are coming We've already paid for them We're only going to need to buy literally one or two more players two is enough and we have the ultimate team will be ready for the league next year but who says this year can't be done we do to Manchester City away' what they've done to us ! We must do to them in that reverse fixture but let's just see if we can win the next four games cuz then that'll be six wins on the bounce real teams that go for titles or want to be in the top four they put winning runs of like 10 12 15 games winning runs in a row and that's the likes of your man cities at Liverpool's your arsenals and this year we've got to make sure we pin back Aston villa because as it stands Chelsea and now not second in the league or third or fourth when our fifth as Arsenal drew with Manchester City which is brilliant because it's a title race there's only three points now in between us from the top let me check I'm pretty sure it's that Anyway CFC for life come on you blues JK West London man Chelsea all the way

I've argued that we don't need an Osimhen or another striker. Jackson does everything we need in our build-up play, arguably as well as most top-tier strikers. Once he adds more goals to his game he'll be absolutely devastating which we are seeing glimpses of. His close control, link-up play and passing range will only get better with time. He has a very unique skillset and profile similar to Henry. I wouldn't want purely a finisher ala Haaland as it would diminish the dynamic pressing, energetic play and versatility this team has. We haven't had a striker since Anelka who could play a similar role. All we need is time and patience.

Lopetegui did not have his best 11 on the field together. Should have made adjustments to his high line, shutting down Chelsea's wing play, focusing or distracted by Palmer. Lopetegui also made some unusual substitutions that did not help. Chelsea dominated the opening 30 mins and the next 25 mins in the second half. Missed opportunities cost tbem another 2-4 goals, so still have time to fix issues. Defensive turnovers when playing out from the back continues to be worrisome.
