OK! Big success! We recently got an "air fryer" and the 7 inch diameter pan that fits in that is a perfect size for one pie. So we used a half recipe and from start to finish, including prep was 15 minutes. We preheated to 400°F, baked the crust for 7 minutes, took it out and added our toppings, and put it back in for another 4 minutes. Close enough to deliver a solid "pizza fix", and half a pie is about the right serving size for us. I lost over 100 lb after switching to an ultra-low carb selection of foods and have no interest in carbs now, so your guy's recipe was perfecto !! Thanks so much !!

So far this looks like the BEST pizza crust I've seen. Too many others are FULL of all different kinds of cheeses and wayyyyy too much salt for me. Can this crust be frozen (after cooked) and used later? TYFS ❤️

I just found this video when searching for almond flour pizza recipes. Just tried it out and it's delicious. I noticed in the comments where someone asked why you used processed coconut oil instead of extra virgin olive oil. I went with the EVOO and it worked fine. I was initially worried that making 2 pizzas would make them too small, but they are plenty filling.

Thank you! I just made this for the first time and it was delicious! I feel really full, so next time I think I'll just eat half of a personal 7" pizza. Thanks again!

Since this video, I've learned to make cauliflower-crust pizza from scratch, using homemade sauce from fresh, sun-ripened tomatoes, and fresh basil and oregano from the garden. The 2 cheeses used were the only thing pre-made. It was a two-day process, but it was well worth it!!

Well, an egg white is 33 g each, so try 66 g of that aquafaba stuff to replace that, and for the egg yolk, you wanna add 10 grams of fat, a bit over a tbsp of water. Not quite the same, but might work. or you could just search it up yourself idk.

I was not impressed. The crust has a cornbread texture and the coconut oil contributed a dessert-like taste. This would be a great substitute for cornbread, stuffing, or cookies - not for pizza dough. Noticed they did not provide close up footage of the pizza after it was done and eating it.

What is the calorie per pizza or slice I am assuming you would eat the whole pizza?
@Talletc6 жыл бұрын
If you're still counting calories you are wasting your time. Calories mean NOTHING.
@MisterAHouse3 жыл бұрын
it's 681 kcals per pizza crust, you can do the math on how many per slice that is as long as you're even. Not including toppings tho. easy enough tho cuz cheese is the only calorically dense topping. maybe except chicken and pepperoni.
@ninafahey33153 жыл бұрын
I think i like this better. The other crust have too much cheese in the dough. I like the cheese melted on top.

Maybe to long in the oven? I baked for 15 minutes in 200 Celsius. If you have fan assisted oven you have to lower by 20, so it would be 180 Celsius.

Hmm did I do something wrong or was it just too thick? My pizza was a bit(not much) crumbly, and very dry. But then again the crust ended up being rather thick. First time I tried this also new to keto recipes.

why not use extra virgin olive oil for genuinely healthy dough instead of that highly processed coconut oil, otherwise it's still a very good recipe!
@jamesedgar34422 жыл бұрын
I read your comment before trying the recipe, and I went with EVOO instead of coconut oil. It came out great.
@johnp77392 жыл бұрын
I'd trust most coconut oil (the one we use is organic) over olive oil, even extra virgin. It's very hard to find out where it's really from or if it's blended with seed oils.

That's right. You can make it while oven is preheating and just put it in once the oven is ready. This meal can be done in half an hour.
@EPA183 жыл бұрын
I thought this was a horrible recipe! Now admittedly, I happen to use 1 3/4 cup almond flour and 1/4 cup coconut flour, because that is what I had on hand. However, the crust was to me very, very dry, like eating sawdust. It needs some additional oil or something to keep it moist, and I noticed that some recipes call for melted mozzarella in the crust. I suspect that that's a better recipe.

@mariolasojka26934 жыл бұрын
You did not pay attention. She says what temperature to preheat oven to. It is at 1min18seconds mark. And you don't cool it. You take it out after about 15 minutes put the toppings in and put back again for couple (I did 5 min) of minutes till the cheese melts. That's it.
