Maybe it would be kool to actually know what music vikings did. A lot of people are complaining that this is not actually the music they played back then. But music like this here is not meant to be a simulation of the music people heard back then, it more represents a certain way of feeling, a certain way of thinking. It is meditative and grounding. I'd call it "modern-viking music" or what it actually is, "viking inspired music". One also does not have to wear medieval clothes and run around with a sword and shield to be a viking nowdays. It takes something different to be a "viking", or let's say a warrior.
