It's amazing from tying bucktails in my early life. I feel that I'm back there again. I never thought I would have to take out my hook holder again. And that's the valve for me. Watching you guys put together some assist hooks definitely inspired me again 💯💪

Love the river fishing . Whenever I fish a river i always think what could be swimming by... nice longnose gar .. remember the Arkansas state record for aligator gar is like 209 pounds . But the state record for long nose gar is 35pounds 12 oz ...just incase you get a big one.

For what you’re doing at the dam. I would run 65/85lb braid and 80/100lb leader line, and set that drag right and you can just man handle the fish without worrying on losing them
@COLE_and_JAY10 ай бұрын
I can’t cast far enough with the heavier braid or I would use it. 30lb has been the sweet spot for strength and casting distance for us!
@BradBracy6 ай бұрын
Youve almost did it at 11:00 mins when you re rigging you should rig a Kentucky Rig
@BradBracy6 ай бұрын
also instead of tieing a palomor knot tie a surgeons knot like youre doing a yo-yo cut your tag end feed the hoop through your weight and put it thorugh the new loop created, similar to a palomar knot but you can swap weight quickly without retieing a knot or losing leader length, and when you tie your knot on for your hook just make a dropper loop about 4inches long! and make another one about 6-8 inches above that one, thread the loop through the eye of your hooks and loop it back around like the weights! Bait it up (I like strawberry chicken)
@BradBracy6 ай бұрын
K rig is the kitty rig everyone will catch anything with troll for cats

Hurting fish for personal fun. No judgement here, to each its own. If humans weren't on top of the food chain and there were some giants who loved hooking humans by their jaws, dragging them and releasing for fun... you can finish the thought in any way you want. One thing is fishing or hunting for survival...

What are you doing watching fishing if you don't like it.... News flash fishing is many thousands of years old.... When I go fishing I make sure I'm well armed with large knives .... A small solid bat .. Just in case someone like you tries to spoil my day .... All The better if there's an audience to witness your pain and sorrow....

You're right! Where the Pacific ocean, there's efforts to collect all the plastics tossed into it. Like you might be my age or younger, but cans, beer cans, coke cans used to come in a plastic piece with 6 holes that held the can. They quit making it as human trash threw these out in the water where fish would get in them just like a gill net and suffocate. So many think nothing of the environment.
