Hello from South Central Missouri. It’s so refreshing in today’s times to see a young family that expresses so much love, and that can have good wholesome fun together. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s working for you.

I also enjoy the fact that you are doing catch and release with the smallmouth because they are slow to grow. In California, where I’m at we go fishing for calico and the largest that I’ve caught was just over 10 pounds which is phenomenal a lot of 3 to 5 pound bass Are a lot more common.

Loved this video. Question I've often meant to ask, but haven't done so before. How is it that you find these great places to fish, yet no one else is there? It would be so much fun to have such a great sizable fishing spot all to oneself!
@COLE_and_JAY21 күн бұрын
Most of these spots are out in the middle of nowhere and we often film during the week days when less people are out. There are a lot of these spots that have quite a bit of pressure during the weekend

Great to see you guys having so much fun. The world needs more of that but still not a fan of the New York style of fishing you know the hole catch and release program lol.

I enjoyed the video, but the one question I have is why you are working downstream instead of upstream that way you don’t disturb any of the gravel that might spook the fish. We went did some trout fishing up in Colorado and found that by working upstream, we didn’t disturb the fish out of their spots, and we were able to catch more fish but good job
@COLE_and_JAY28 күн бұрын
We usually wade upstream, but some of the spots we go to require a downstream wade based on where we are able to park the vehicle

Just wanna throw this in this evening. I saw a Monarch Butterfly this afternoon on my wife's Peony's! The first one that I've saw in years! I was watching 3 deer across the hayfield that butts up to my backyard at the same time. The big doe was out about 125 yards with a yearling and another smaller doe. They may have little ones. They were all feeding rather heavily. I just hope they stay away from my garden! This is no time to make venison! The timing is all wrong.

That's awesome! We are waiting for some to come through to our garden!

@@COLE_and_JAY I'm assuming Monarchs and not deer. 🤣

Teach a man to fish, and your KZbin video will get likes for a day. Teach a man to put his girlfriend in the video, and you'll get likes on the video for a lifetime..
