I love this format. It doesn’t have to be live stream either. The knowledge I gain from this is huge. Johnny you are too good of a teacher.

This format is great. It’s great to watch you put into practice all the great techniques and use of electronics that you provide in the normal short videos. With your commentary and live graphics it’s one of the best teaching formats I’ve seen on KZbin! 👍

I enjoyed this a lot. I sometimes have hard time internalizing new ideas I learn, so even after watching a lot of videos about sonar and mapping and all that, it helps a lot to see it all put together and what it actually looks like to use it to find fish on the water.

Great job Johnny! For anyone to expose the truth of every day fishing, takes confidence in what they do. It lets us all see it's the way fishing is even for those with higher levels of experience in all the tools / tequniques ! Reality BASS fishing is sure to take off and more people will feel on a level field especially if we can move to the basic electronic set like 2D, side and downscan or even less. Keep the train of this going forward.

I love this format. I do have a suggestion. Maybe at a couple of intervals, you could freeze the forward facing and point out what we are seeing like brush, fish, rock etc. Maybe it's easier said than done, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks for all of your hard work on this it is very helpful.

Dude these are the most informative videos on using electronics on the water! Only thing I’d love to see would be an aerial shot of the boat when you are graphing off shore points.
@Trayman26 Жыл бұрын
Johnny this video was awesome. Being in the boat with you seeing you graph and stop and fish for what you are graphing is just what I been wanting to see. Please do more of these videos.

Johnny - I keep a 3/4 ounce jigging spoon on a rod to ID fish that will not bite a Deep Crank, Hair Jig, or Carolina Rig. I often find Drum or Carp that I am seeing …..but also some Largemouth might be off to the side of bait. It can be a frustrating some days but I very much appreciate your honesty and openness to post this video-because this is reality some days for me. Your the best electronics teacher on line - so please keep the live formats coming.

I appreciate the work you put in to bring this format to life. Props, I'd imagine the stars would have to align with the sun and moon for it to go smoothly, and there's still no guarantee on big fish. But I'd say this was a success!!

I hope he realizes how much we appreciate him putting these out even if everything doesn’t go perfectly smooth. The amount of time and effort put into these doesn’t go unnoticed 🫡

This format is great. Can’t believe you are able to do this live with good quality. Very impressive. As far as Beaver goes, that lake changes hour to hour. I was smashing them in that same area a few weeks ago, paused to set up my GoPros and never got on them again.

Good video, buddy. On the poaching topic. The problem comes when you, me, or anyone else thinks it's " there" spot and forgets that it is public water. It's that sense of entitlement we tend to have sometimes
@FishtheMoment Жыл бұрын
Agreed. I try not to get bothered by stuff like that because it’s out of my control. I’m there to outsmart the fish, not people haha

Johnny, nice live stream. Wasnt sure if you know this hook trick or not but thought I'd share it with you. If you run your pliers underneath the gill plate and gills, instead of straight in the mouth, you can turn your hook around and pop it out without hurting the fish or leaving the hook in the fish. Keep up the good work.

Hey Anthony there's nothing wrong with you bro keep watching johnny you will learn more from johnny than any other channel on KZbin. This guy is a bass professor period. Anthony you will notice he graphs more than he fishes. Very important instead of just starting to fish blindly. He's just fantastic.

Great stuff johnny. Out at 40 ft theres always something on the scope. Is that just interference of some kind?
@FishtheMoment Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s called “ghost tree.” It’s really bad on the original Livescope transducer I have. I’m going to upgrade the LVS34 Livescope Plus transducer at some point to get rid of the interference and get a better picture at range.

Hey Jonny, how about a Summer Night Fishing Live Post here at LOZ? Loads of brush and ledges. Big boat traffic will usually lighten up by 2 a.m. Lol.
@jburnette88 Жыл бұрын
Look into cellular signal amplifiers. Might help with lakes that have weaker cell signals. We use something called a pep-wave. It's a bit pricey, but there are cheaper versions out there..... its the same sort of device that police and other first responders use in their vehicles to boost signal strength.

I’m proud of you Tyler for not letting the poachers get to you! I think these so called pros are going to destroy the fishing leagues, with all the stuff there doing, cheating especially it’s true I had bass anglers cheat me! And I was a co-angler, a lot of them don’t like us! I heard yesterday an angler pulled a gun on a guy that was on his spot. Someone will get shot next, I’m glad you help us figure these depth finders out, I’m 69 years old and I got a Hummingbird Solix 12 G3 it’s got more stuff than I can learn in the next 69. years,LOL but it’s fun, I don’t need FFS, I went on a guided crappie trip did not like it. Took my middle son, and he didn’t like it either, this Solix 12is great and Ulterra Trolling Motor I pilot self deploy. WHAT! Unbelievable! Like the video, keep up the great stuff, and keep the faith! 👍🥸🙏
