This is what KZbin fishing could be. Educational. Like real things to show you how to approach breaking down a lake. Not just use this lure it's magic. Great job Johnny!

Jonny thank you for taking me along in your boat. Some guides not even half as good as you are charging hundreds of dollars for that experience ! Btw we don’t need proof that you can catch fish cast after cast. You proved that years ago. I would put my money on you any day if you are competing in pro circuit ! Thank you sir Keep up the good work.

Johnny, I like the full recorded videos. Is there a way that you can go back and “edit” a few spots to use arrows pointing to what you are looking at and explaining? Sometimes you say “ there are fish right there” but I don’t understand what you are looking at. The education here is unparalleled. This is what I want a guide to do with me live, but I can watch this back multiple times. Thank you. Love your channels.

The uncut format is awesome. I have a couple of questions. 1. On the screen of you fishing and forward facing, can you move the depth to the right a bit so we can see the whole thing. 2. Why not try more baits than just the hover rig? Thanks, great content.
@FishtheMoment

Glad you enjoyed! I can try to extend the Livescope range a little bit more next time. I usually use more baits, but I’m trying to learn more about the Hover Rig because this is the first summer I’ve ever used it. I don’t think using a different bait would have made that much of a difference on this particular day because they were already acting very spooky. If I got out earlier or the conditions changed, I would have definitely used other baits.

Thanks Jonny...enjoyed the video and watched every minute of it. The only thing I would have tried differently would have been to switch up baits. I know you are helping to sell that hover bait, but I'm sure you would have smashed more fish by mixing it up some with a dropshot, worm, or maybe even a deeper rip bait like a megabass 110+2. Just my opinion for sure, and mad respect for what you do.

love this format. I'm not sure how you manage to handle all of the cameras, recording, etc and still use sonar, FFs, . But I appreciate it! I do the same thing without the cameras, and a lot of time get side tracked chasing fish that are not active. Last time out I hit the jackpot and found a big school on a point, caught over 20, with a few over 4lbs. Thanks for the video...confirms that I am on the right track. Also, your 2D looks very weak, not sure what is wrong. Tight Lines!

You have it way to easy, I used a Lowrance flasher the first ten years I fished. The last 50 years, fishing equipment has gotten so advanced, I can find fish within minutes of pulling up on hot spots. Cracking the code is the best part of my trips now. I like to watch your vids, when I can't go fishing, even though I don't have a live scope.
@FishtheMoment
@FishtheMoment Жыл бұрын
It’s definitely a lot easier than it used to be. I learned to fish offshore with a black and white Lowrance unit with only 2D sonar and a paper map. I think it has helped make me better at finding fish because I had to learn to find them offshore without side imaging and Livescope.

It’s amazing how forward facing sonar has put a lot of what the “pros” say bass do is not always true. In fact a lot of it is not true ,
@FishtheMoment
@FishtheMoment Жыл бұрын
That’s very true. I’ve learned so much about bass behavior in the past 2 years since getting Livescope.
@jamesw5836
@jamesw5836 Жыл бұрын
I've heard pros comment that what they have learned about fish behavior, with live sonar, is the main reason they catch more fish using it. The same thing happened when side imaging was introduced. All of a sudden the "entire picture" was available and not just a "slice". Even the humble flasher was a "game changer" when we first started using it and, just like today, there were many folks that wanted it outlawed in tournaments.
