@@Anna-pj8te I work at an Amazon FC in north Texas. I actually just arrived home after working from 06:00 to 18:00. We had a 15 minute break at 08:55-09:15 (5 minute walking time), a 30 minute break at 11:25-12:00, and a 30 minute break at 14:55-15:30. I think the job is pretty tough, more mentally than physically. It's super monotonous, working as a stower. I just go on autopilot and let my mind wander while I work, trying my best not to look at the time lol. Sometimes, it's nice to be alone with your thoughts, especially if you have an idea or plan you're working on. Most of the times though, you're just like singing songs in your head (really wish we could listen to music/podcasts). I'm a young guy at 19 years old and in decent shape, and even for me, standing for all those hours gets exhausting. A lot of the workers there aren't in the best shape, I can tell, so it's definitely harder on them than me. Honestly, every one looks miserable to be there, except a select few friendly angels working there. I definitely would not want to work there long term. But since I'm living with my parents just saving up for school, I can bare it, for now. Also, they don't get onto you for using the restroom. They only say something if you exceed like three "time off tasks" in your shift, which is when you go 10 minutes without processing a unit. It totally depends on the location if the manager is gonna be a dick about it or understand.

What is a doily?
@brusselsprout58515 жыл бұрын
A doily is usually made with paper or fabric & is characterized by openwork which allows the surface of the underlying object to show through. They're sold at many markets for setting a cake or other baked good onto for a pretty presentation. I use them as a stencil by setting them atop the cake, sprinkling powdered sugar, then lifting the doily (stencil) and that leaves behind a beautiful sugary finish. Especially pretty on a chocolate cake. In a time pinch its quick and pretty, so it always offers a great visual.

I made this recipe last night, LOVED IT, I did a half batch and a little 15x23cm rectangle baking dish, cooked in about 10 mins. Came out great for taking 2 ingredients and taking 15 mins to make. REALLY GOOD TIP: Make sure the eggs are room temp so when you add them to the chocolate, it won’t set up and harden. This will make it easier to incorporate the meringue without causing a loss of bubbles.

So, thank you for not letting me down. 3 components yes, but only 2 ingredients. Proud of you Sir.
