Tip: One common error to make is to back outside of the folder and then make a zip of that folder which then contains the stuff inside of it, this will cause invalid zip file error, make sure to ctrl+a and then zip it

Yeah. It was fine at the beggining. It charged all the way. After finishing the instalation of rom. I saw 2 line " E:unknow error!". Then i try to reboot for checking if it is working. The thing is that the phone shut down. But not start again. I keep the power button pressed 20 minutes but it does not start.. Idk what happend. But i think i just killed my phone...

in TWRP go to advanced > terminal, then create /cache/recovery with mkdir /cache/recovery solved the problem for me

I was able to fix this error by going into Advanced and then scroll all the way to the bottom and execute "Merge snapshots"

if anyone else comes here due to same error 7 or 1 . try checking the steps tp install the rom you are using as i missed this step as i was loading newer android 13 on my nexus 5 How to increase /system partition and change partitions map: - Flash the HH.R version of TWRP and launch it - Open terminal (TWRP -> Advanced -> Terminal) - Type hh_repart -m - Wait until your phone reboots - Install your rom

Hi! My phone is getting E2001: failed to update vendor image before every Error 7 when flashing any rom. Any suggestions? I can't find anything on it Also, I don't get the option to wipe a Vendor, which makes me think that partition is corrupt or simply nonexistent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
