Another issue people might face is lite windows do not have several essential drivers preinstalled, which makes ADB set up a nightmare. Best to use a default win 10 or 11 which are ready to go for flashing.

Did you try the latest mi flash tool ? It might work but you can also try these steps - change the USB port on your PC - use platform tools to check if your device is detected via fastboot mode - watch this video (from minute 1 onwards for adb and fastboot check) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn-Yk4xmm7Jgp8Usi=jGxLc4EMrzNFGD-z - if your phone is not detected, you might need to install the drivers

Hi bro.. I'm talking about the experience I have with the pixel based custom roms for xiaomi phones, it is a whole different operating system and it'll be different from normal ui, it's more like the one you find on pixel devices. For Xiaomi phones there are some custom roms with a similar ui like miui but with some additional features like no bloatware or a different kernel for better battery performance. For samsung phones, if you are flashing a pixel based custom rom, you will not see knox, samsung pass or good lock. If there's a custom rom based on one ui (I am not sure if there's any), then you might be able to see these features..

Sorry man! Don’t know how I missed your comment. Can you try opening the device manager on your pc and see how it behaves while connecting and disconnecting your device. You should be able to see your device name there and if you see it, try to update the drivers there. You can text me on Instagram as well if you don’t find any solution

You need to unlock the bootloader and flash miui 14 rom. But I haven't tried unlocking the bootloader on hyperos, it's a very long process I think. I can check and let you know if I find any guide online..
