I went to the Sim and just imagined where an alignment stick would be. Then I tried swinging over it on the way back and under it on the way down and instant success. This may be a swing thought I hold onto for more than five seconds lol. Love the video.

It's all the rage now to shallow the club. I simply cannot do it. I'm too round shouldered. My downswing comes down from the middle of my neck. Here's the thing. I don't swing out to in despite my shaft in the downswing being slightly over my shaft plane in the backswing. Years ago I had the training aid Inside Approach. Jack Nicklaus's son in law's invention. Jack was in the informercial. I never hit the cushion. Many pro golfers swing over their back swing in the downswing. Here's the kicker, I can hit a draw. Shot a 76 yesterday with no birdies. Many ways to swing a club. Ball flight is king. Cautionary tale to golfers chasing that elusive looking perfect swing on video.

After a shoulder injury I’ve found myself looking exactly like Furyk. It’s amazing how much I redirect so for me trying to get the backswing more on plane, I actually find myself too shallow if that’s a thing. Shaft below trail forearm at halfway down. Is that bad 😂
