I think that Blair is more immature than Serena. Remember when she met Louis, who pretended to be a driver, so she thought Serena was the one getting a date with a prince, she got so jealous, she pushed Serena in the fountain. And when Blair found out it's Louis who's a prince, she immediately started fawning over him. I don't hate Blair, but she is always so insecure around Serena, which is why they have so many conflicts. Serena may be charismatic and pretty, but I think that people tend to underestimate her intelligence. She's trying so hard to become more independent and to find herself, it's just that sometimes it ends up being the opposite of what she planned to do with her life.

ngl lol despite ppl having this warped view of blair and serena. serena was the one that always had blair STRUGGLING w just her presence lol. blair had a huge chip on her shoulder when it came to Serena and it’s because everything came easier to her. there’s a reason characters would say Blair was lucky Serena didn’t wanna be Queen B lol. almost every conflict blair and serena have is Blair being super jealous of Serena loool it’s her biggest flaw.

Blair never destroyed Serena. Serena always sacrificed things for Blair. For example: Yale accepted Serana but Serena rejected just for Blair didnt accepted so she can go there but Yale didnt accepted Blair again...

I guess you havent seen the entire show then because it is the only example. In that scene Serena didn't even care about the school and Blair wanted so bad. Serena just charmed them by talking 5 min, they didn't even conceder some extracurricular activities SAT's or other stuff. Besides everything yeah there are some toxic behaviours that Blair did but so as literally everyone on the show.

How effing ironic of Blair to be ACTUALLY talking about "real world" when she was ultimately priveleged, reasonably failed to get into a proper college on her own and remained rich thanks to her mother handing her the company she hardworkingly created. Blair was indeed, a "supposedly" hardworking and bright student, which is odd because as far as I'm concerned, she spent majority of her time scheming over people, arranging parties and fighting her best friend, but she gracefully stained that labeling by being a freaking bully. Serena might've not been as succesfull as she is, but Serena displayed great social posture and stance in life. Truthfully, both are priveleged and lucky heirs to wealth and power. If you want to idolize a character, idolize someone who earned what they had and does not have a compilation of scenes where she spits childish insults to someone she calls bestie :)

let’s be honest, everyone puts blair up on a pedestal and for what. she was awful to most people who cared about her in her life, she did a total 180 on dan the only guy who actually loved her, she thought she was justified in being rude to serena just because she was jealous of serenas charm or beauty or whatever tf. she always blamed everything on other people and acted like she was perfect just because she hadn’t done some of the things serena had. at the end of the day serena was just more likeable and blair wasn’t, so blair did what she always does and ruined everyone’s lives till they were as miserable as her
