It's amazing that she has no build up. Lucky duck. Kids are usually pretty messy with their hair, even if there's no build up. You'd expect something. It definitely helps that her hair is naturally moisturized, so you don't have to apply product. My sister has hair like that. So unfair lol

Her hair is beautiful ❤-- it just makes me sad to see young girls with locs before they really get a chance to learn and understand their hair texture and how to manage, grow, and do their own hair-- I personally wouldn't allow my child to make that choice so young.... just my personal thoughts. How come you consider your daughters set of locs as sister locs but on yourself they are microlocs?

Hi :) My daughter's locs are Sisterlocks because they were established by a certified Sisterlock professional (me) in accordance with Sisterlocks grid and starter locs guidelines. My locs, on the otherhand, were not established following Sisterlocks approach and guidelines and are instead a custom set of Microlocs. I did a video a while back discussing why and how Sisterlocks and Mircolocs are distinguished. You may find it interesting.

@@janetmaria9314 I prefer micros only because of the flexibility to customize but if the structure of sisterlocks provides great parting lines for those interested in updo styling when the lines will be visible. Its a personal call.
