I like the placement of the light fabrics, it almost glows. I have made a couple of quilts with Ombré fabric. I really like it but it is not easy to find Ombré any more. Thank you Laura.

Beautiful…dramatic quilts. Can you show how to border a panel or feature square within a quilt/quilt block. -- How does one do the corners? Would one border them in going straight along the sides then top and bottom…or miter them like binding. My guess is the former to avoid bulk. I believe it would be like adding piping.

I am not to sure what you mean. Do you want a border around the block that is already in the quilt? Or cut it out and border it?

@@SewVeryEasy I want to place a border around a block or panel within a quilt. Rather than just adding strips of fabric, I would like to add a flange like you did on the vertical, but the element being framed would be a rectangle. So my inquiry was on how to handle the corner flange when framing it with the border. Does one mitre it or just do straight across (sides first,then top and bottom) strips.
