2 Reasons Why Hip Flexibility is Hard

(1) Hip flexibility is compound, meaning it involves more than one joint. Your knees, ankles or lower back end up involved in most hip movements.
(2) It’s complex, meaning it involves at least six different muscles in most movements.
This makes hip flexibility more challenging and requires longer holds and a greater variety of postures. My 21-Day Hip Opening Challenge is designed to address both of these issues.

Took your advice about holding the deep squat stretch for 2 minutes, what a difference already, I'm going to be working towards 5 minutes on that one, and I'm going to hold my other stretches longer !! Thank you !!

I want to tell you, I found you yesterday and tried out some of your thoughts today and your advice is going to totally re-make my training, particularly my stretching as its also about relaxation and I push in life, the gym and I was pushing in my stretching, not relaxing in my stretching and shorts such as this let me know why I am having such a hard time opening my hips and why that battle is a slow one.
