When applying newtons theory of symmetrical motion, the time it takes to get from C to D should be equal to the amount of time to get from B to C. When calculating it, it does not come out as being equal, but the accurate flight time when applying this principle is different.

I have a question, why the acceleration which is the gravitational force in that case is negative? because i think the gravitational force is positive when the object is moving downward.
@krypt0n2606 ай бұрын
rockets direction is positive up on y axis in the first half, g force is pulling rocket down(opposite of rockets direction) that's why is shown as negative.
@alirezadavarpanah69202 жыл бұрын
awesome bro you are great my question is : if an aircraft goes verticaly upward with constant velocity how much G acceleration pilot feels? what about G acceleration when velocity in not constant? what about the situation when aircraft climbs or decends with 45 degree flight path angle?
@epsilon_el_naught11 ай бұрын
I don't think it's possible to fly vertically upward with a constant velocity. Since you're always under the influence of gravity, thus, you will constantly feel an acceleration downward.

hey man just asking, why don't we take into account gravity from the first place? a rocket is accelerating 15m/s^2 towards the ground, but isn't it not affected by gravity just yet? or do we just assume that the rocket is being observed from someone on the ground, and accelerating 15m/s^2 thus it is already accounting for gravity?
@dredomm4 ай бұрын
i assume it is accelerating at 15 m/s² taking gravity into account, the problem should have mentioned that, if so

Mass of a rocket is changing while engine is expelling gas and it’s very hard even with lpre to make it constant a
@californiadreamin84232 жыл бұрын
In my day it was V=U + at , S=Ut + 1/2atsquared, V squared = U squared + 2aS……then it became V= U +ft and now its Vf = Vo + at. Oh well. Does dV/dt still equal a, or is it f ? Still it looks an interesting video 😊
@chaosforever2 жыл бұрын
I recently started doing projectiles in physics and so far we've only been doing v=u+at, s=ut+1/2at^2, only the standard equations as well

sir I've a dbt , why can't we take T ascent = T descent and Add up to get total time of flight
@tree51182 ай бұрын
I know it’s been a while but T ascent includes the time the rocket was still accelerating at a speed of 15 so therefore it is not equal to time of descent.

Can you help me out in this question the rocket is accelerating 15m/s^2 but it’s only accelerating 5.2m/s^2 because of retardation force acting on the rocket so the velocity at B would be 52m/s right?

@@vinayaksingh5680 I don't know the answer I have just started to study about rocket science in my free time and I've been busy with other stuff I just know the main parts of a rocket and how they work I know how to build a rocket engine and flight computer but I am not that good with math
