About the 31cc 4 stroke wild badger , it has a Honda clone of the gx31 , and yes you are able to run it upside down because the oil sits in a separate tank and not a oil pan. I have one myself and I like it so far

The main problem you’re describing in the beginning has to do with your curved shaft overheating…which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact it’s a 4-stroke engine. They haven’t figured out how to make a small 4-stroke? The Honda GX25 has been around for ages and will run forever if maintained properly…no idea what this guys is on…but I kinda want some of it.

If you got a 4 stroke design for working upside down then you’re set for years of use, it’s the cheap mtd 4 strokes you can’t upside down

Still have my grandfathers stihl from late 1980s still runs great gave it to my brother to use. I'm running a stihl FS 46 from 2009 now. Replaced the head from ware 4 times and new carb this year since primer bulb cracked. I run it 3 hours each time I cut grass so thats at least 50 hours use each year lot of weed trimming. I don't care about mixing gas as much as refilling the fuel sucking 2 cycle tank multiple times each time cutting grass. I am thinking about buying Stihl Kombi 4 cylce engine model FS 111 R for next year. Probably sell FS 46 cheap unless it I have to put a new $$ head on who knows. I probably spent as much on heads, fuel, and carb as you did on that troy bilt so cost money no mater what brand. Got lucky one year found a used FS 46 missing trimmer head and deflector for cheap to replace my bent shaft and have a spare engine block and clutch incase I need it.

Nowadays the four strokes are better the one that you have are the crappy one Troy-Bilt recalld that model 2 years ago they're all better now cuz I just bought one myself and it runs like a Champ more power any other Weedeater I've ever experienced is a 30CC Craftsman 4-cycle string trimmer

what ever you have the POS i will stay with my 2 stroke
@izaacsilva91484 жыл бұрын
It's not a pile of s*** if a four stroke and you know what thrash is stronger than 2 stroke they make more torque on low RPM then a 2-stroke does at the highest RPM possible you can have it your way but they're not trash if you get the right brand like Craftsman like the one I've had for 15 years then it'll last you
