Put some tail pipes on the exhausts to build more back pressure in the expansion chambers. The more back pressure the more power. I've always had two stroke bikes.
@robbygray95623 жыл бұрын
Its not the silencers that are real important, its the stinger length. Thats why drag pipes dont have silencers
@D4mo26123 жыл бұрын
@@robbygray9562 then you don't know how a two stroke engine works. The bigger the expansion chamber means more power, but you need an end can (muffler) to hold that back pressure. That thing would kick ass if it had tail pipes. Google sammi miller two stroke exhausts. A huge expansion chamber with a small end can.
@SuperBigdanno3 жыл бұрын
The size of the chamber does not always mean more power, you can tune for high,mid or low rpm and that partly dictates the size/shape of the chamber. The stinger also lets you tune to particular rpm but without one at all you usually run out of power about half throttle. Muffler itself really does not matter on a tuned pipe as they are pretty much straight through and just knock the noise down to comfortable-ish levels. If younreallybwant some good theory on this then read anything from Olave Aaeen on the subject. Two cycle engines are wonderful in the amout of ways you can manipulate them to get power or make power where you want it but because of this are very easy to screw up too.
