You have played a significant role in my life PBD, during the lockdowns your videos help inspire and ultimately choose what i want to do. Long story short, I opened my own pawnshop in January 2021 and Business is Booming especially Now in 2023, I opened the store for less then 10,000 dollars Now i have over 100k in inventory for sale and a loan base that fluctuates around 20 to 25k yielding 22 percent interest a month. Its just a small business, but you played a role in help starting it.

Had a friend for 15 years that I recently had to separate myself from. Very difficult but, they were such a drain emotionally. I was very stressed out trying to help and motivate them. Also, would constantly lie about their results to appease me. Couldn't tell what was real about them anymore. It was tough and still is but, I feel so much better not having to worry about them all the time.

Had a friendship that ended due to how toxic he got and started to treat me shitty over the fact that my life was going pretty well while his was going downhill for years. I tried everything to help him but his alcoholism was so strong that it altered his mental state to make him feel like victim over anything I did that he was jealous of and even at one point claimed I abandoned him all because I went on a vacation me and him planned to go on only for him to not save a cent due to drinking everyday. He was a subtractor and it showed by the end of the friendship especially when he tried to steal from me

@@alexioiancu I can relate to some of that as well. It took me way too long to realize that you can't help someone that doesn't recognize they need help. Sorry you had to go through that. That is a very rough situation. Happy to hear you came out on the better side of it.

@@moneyblade5 it was wild but to think he would throw away a 15 year long friendship over drinking but hey to each his own but currently he's been trying to brainwash my sister into disowning me in a sense and pretty much having him and her brother figure. It's getting wild but I had a huge conversation with my sister about it and the sheer amount of lies he told her was insane he literally told her I was calling her a whore when his buddy tried to rape my sister and he came to the rescue to help her be safe all while I told her that is incorrect and me and my sister who was also there has to reassure her that he said he didn't care let his buddy do what he wants to her. It's fucking insane to think he tried to take the credit for saving my sister from getting raped when I reality it was me saving her. When I found that I almost drove to his house over an hr away to fuck him up but kept my cool because that guy's life is honestly getting very very pathetic. But I'm glad he's gone from my life just as you are happy your friend is gone from yours but it does hurt to think someone was only friends with someone to manipulate them

I wish I had heard this 20 years ago instead of the 2 decades of hard lessons. One day I woke up and started to become self aware enough to know that I was being careless with my energy and giving it away to subtractors and dividers. First I pissed and moaned about being in my particluar position. Then when that season ran its course, I took ownership of the fact that I was allowing it to happen. I'm on this side of the jail, so no one else is in control of who I have relationships with. Now here comes Patrick breaking it down in 4 simple categories. I hope, at least, other younger men are watching this and saving themselves the headache. Great content boss!

This message should taught early in life. I wished someone told me this in my teenage years. Not sure I would understand it, but I would need to hear it.

Don’t forget it is also your responsibility to move on from relationships that are toxic or psychically draining not just for your own sanity and the sanity of the community but to desist from enabling bad behaviors of other people. The reality is you are not helping the other individual, you are in fact, harming the other individual by enabling them in persisting in non-productive and divisive behavior so if you truly have love, you have to call them on it and if they can’t get over it, you must move on, and in hopes that that final action of moving on you will inspire them to self reflect, and self improve

I finally realized this in recent years and that also by distancing myself they now have to deal with their own problems and work on healing and also sometimes its best for me to work on my problems without any distractions also as when I have things I need to work on and fix in my life and heal from its best not to be around too many other distracting people and it can keep me from my goals etc.

This hits home. I was doing great until i met someone and we became friends overtime i realized my life getting worse until i had depression and lost a unique opportunity didn’t know whats wrong but then he started mocking me for it and i realized he was the problem so i blocked his messages and calls from the phone never spoken to him since and now i’m in a better place

This is hard when its a person you cant ditch, like a spouse. Modern mentality is that everything and everyone is disposable if ‘youre just not living your best life’, but no. You made a committment. You already committed to that person, so you stick it out and find ways to support your children and each other. They make you a better person and maybe you make them a better person. But with business and mere friendships, yeah. Toss that out.

I have had many friends, that I would listen to their problems for an hour or more and the minute, that I start to vent a little bit, they either take another call, start yawning in my ear, start talking to others in the background or the phone mysteriously gets disconnected. Please keep away from these unhappy, toxic people.

I just supported a friend for almost 12 months, the last 3 to the point where he was living with me. I had drug dealers showing up the house, "strays" looking for some where to stay, random people call me saying I owe them money. This isn't even all of it, or I am not even trying to make it sound bad. But as I write it. Yeah. I nearly went down with his ship. I recently cut all ties. Only for him to call me a "traitor" in a text to someone else. Pay attention to this video. My assistant gave me some wisdom the other day also. "Is this person an asset or a liability." Wise words.

My colleague is a multiplier. Great personality he can easily change the energy in a room. He is always positive and barely complains. So full of ideas and energy. We shared an apartment last year and in my history of communal living that was the best arrangement ever. Halfway through the third quarter his young brother visited. My colleague left the country just two months after his arrival. Dude I have never seen someone so paranoid. He is an energy vampire. Always asking for stuff, always whining, destroying friendships. Trust me you do not want to be under the same roof with a despondent person for months. We tried talking it over but it was clear we were not on the same page. That is the kind of environment that will kill your ambition and drive. You only realise how bad the set up was after you have gone separate ways. I decided not to renew the lease and i got something smaller instead. In a just a few days at a new place i realised that i was slowly becoming anxious. It set me back a little but I am glad to be back on track.
