Excellent tutorial and well illustrated. That seated leg lift is a hugely under-rated exercise in my view, and it activates rectus femoris in its shortest position-so expect some major cramping! But your straight leg strength will improve dramatically with its use. I will be doing some this morning.
@baileyetcetera82966 жыл бұрын
Kit Laughlin Was looking for someone to discuss cramping when doing straight leg lifts! How long does it take for the cramping to go away? I can do one leg at a time with no cramping but not two. Feel like I could do the L-sit if I could get past this. Any suggestions?
@KitLaughlin6 жыл бұрын
All the gymnastic coaches I know say the same thing: once you've cramped enough times, it will go away. My friend Emmet Louis recommends trying to get the cramp to intensify; I am sure that will work if you can take the pain! Please let us know how you go.

3 questions calimovent 1.-when it comes to the seated Pike lift what's the difference when doing the exercise with back straight and rounded back ? 2.- what's the scapula activation for toes to bar? Retracted or just a dead hang? 3.- I don't know if people tell you this often but what's up with your Planche? I notice that there is a but of bent on the elbows instead of going out you have them going in xd Anyways great vide, good quality as always :)
@calimove6 жыл бұрын
1. Rounded back will also work on your spine mobility. 2. Slighlty Depressed Scapula 3. We aim for an extenend but not overextened elbow.
@TR-ul4rm6 жыл бұрын
Calisthenicmovement thanks for the feedback I'm a bit curious when you say you aim for an extended elbow instead of over extended, what does that mean?
@eleggs6 жыл бұрын
We want to avoid to extend the elbow to 100%, but instead keep it as close as possible to 99% extension.
