yup... this is probably the best battery test in the whole KZbin by far, not perfect because he doesn't point out the macOS version, but no hype or mouthing, just showing real use.... I feel informed with real information thanks

1 year anniversary with 29 cycles at 100% capacity, but I keep mine plugged in 99% of the time. Apple battery management is top notch. When I do take it out, it's exceptional.

Man! I greatly appreciate your hard work 👌 this review is super helpful! I’ve just got 2024 MacBook Pro 14 inch M3 and with light tasks the battery is draining by a rate of 10%/hr which is I think is not good. If anyone can share his experience this would be highly appreciated!

My 14” M1 People gets barely 7 hours doing light work like taking notes on Word or using Canva or browsing the web. I should be getting at least 8-9 hours, probably more. I’m at 96% with 126 cycles.

1.5 years 82% battery health. No one really talks about this, it sucks. I never used to carry a charger when the laptop was new, now i never leave home without it.

@@anupammahato1 if you use low power mode without charger being connected, I suppose you can easily run this macbook for 6 years(including your 2 years) with 80% battery health remaining. But that doesn't mean you can't use it after that. I have heard from people using intel macs for 10+ years down the line.

appreciate the HDR, but please if you're gonna show screenshots that have a white background please grade it with less brightness so it's easier on the eyes, the HDR should only be allowed to pop when you are looking bright parts of a scene not screenshots and turn my display into a flashlight Edit: I was on the 500 nit mode and it was this bright, this is actually unwatchable in the 1600 peak...

@SupertechUSA10 ай бұрын
Hi, was this just your first day? If so give it a couple days to index and do background stuff. If it’s been longer and it was sent to you new and not used, that is definitely not normal and you have two options… 1. (Easy way) exchange it as long as it’s within the return period. 2. Have it looked at. Apple support should be called or a Genius Bar appointment to Apple so they can look at it and run a diagnostic.

I am getting mine replaced today. It's a 2021 but, I purchased new in 2022. Already the battery needs replacing. All my previous Macbook Pro batteries lasted longer than this one. One lasted six years. I think for the cost of this machine two years is a sad performance. The machine still works okay but, it's not charging well at all so I keep it plugged in. This MBP is 99% left at home, is not abused in any way. I know some people had problems with the M2 chip and battery life but, this is the M1.

I like your detailed videos. Always top-notch with real life expectations. I was considering upgrading from m1 mbp 13inch to the 14inch but the battery test as indicated in your video is so bad. I would rather stick with my 13inch with at least 16hrs battery life even at 86% battery health and 255 cycle count. Great video!
