That rescue video was one of the saddest videos I've ever seen. I usually can't watch videos like that, but I made myself, because I was late watching it, and saw a follow up, so, I knew she "made it". I'm so glad she is growing and doing well, and so glad you kept her!

AWWWWWH I LOVE HER SM!!! She’s just as spoiled as my baby boy Leonard. My beautiful and intelligent leopard gecko who will be 4 years old in about a week. He has quite the personality, and gosh do i love reptiles who really let their personality show. Just like saylor, sassy spoiled queen baby. I love seeing new fellow reptile enthusiasts on the internet, especially those who have the time and money to rescue. Something i would absolutely do if i didn’t still live with my parents haha. I've found taming down reptiles to be a little more tricky than your regular type pets, but it's so worth it when you gain their trust! Is she a normal breed iguana? Not a special breed? She looks a bit different to me. Their spikes and tail can and almost always do grow back. Poor humidity can dry them out, cut off the circulation and they will fall off. Its very humid in there i can see that though. They usually start growing their spikes back within 3-6 months. Its a very slow regrow process though. Btw thank you for giving her a chance at a good happy life

I have so many iguanas and so many bearded dragons and just so many reptiles in general. My intent was always to rehome, but I just do not trust people with my animals

She's looking amazing from two years ago. How did u get rid of the mites am having that issue with mine at the moment it's not bad but don't want it to get any worse

She took her to a vet. She did bath soaks and I think got veterinarian medication. But I just googled it and there are over the counter options, and many YT videos about it. Good luck. I'd get it taken care of ASAP. Some mites can affect humans too, so check yourself after handling your iguana when treating for mites.

@Callie W311 yea I put him in the bath and lightly coated him with olive oil for 10 minutes then gave him a warm soapy rinse then drain and cleaned him then let him have his regular 30 minutes warm soak wish I could add a pic of him here
