2 Young Squirrels Romp Around In Nestbox For Over 10 minutes.

This is a squirrel box mounted in a tree at about 20 feet from the ground. No squirrels have used it as a permanent home since February 2, 2024. There will be the occasional all night lodger when there is a storm. Today a pair of young squirrels played in the box several time.

At 2:00 and 2:16 when a male jumps onto roof top, for a second we get a clear view of his two larger male bits. Seems to be a few months more mature than Leo is so far. Then at 2:27 the second one joins; not seeing the prominent bits on this one: could be a younger male or female (fuzzy image for that second). Hmmmmmm, 7:25 the other squirrel appears to be a younger male, smaller bits.
