tbh, i think it's normal and okay to later be the closest of friends with someone you used to hate or dislike. Because people connect through developments based from interactions that can lead to attachment. It's like how I have alot of things I hate about my family members and friends, but because I am always with and am used to them, plus maturity kicks in, I learned how to continue to love them despite the negative things that firstly came before I got to know them. Now, I'd do anything for them, basically.
