Stunning! We have a 40 year old McIntosh apple tree. This year the apples have been gorgeous and delicious. We don't do anything to help it. I think the tree knew this was a challenging time for everyone so it gave it's best❤️🍎🇨🇦

I have a small farm and I am always amazed by what I learn from the land and from the planting of a tiny seed. I have been growing our food for many years but nature always has more to teach us. It’s humbling really. I will have to try making the tea, I usually make apple cider vinegar with the cores and any peels we don’t eat. I have a tea garden and I bet the apple peels would pair nicely with fennel as well in a tea. It’s the small simple pleasures of a cup of tea and a warm treat that make me happy when the land is sleeping in winter. I will think of you with gratitude when I try making it.

@@Her86m2 sorry for my late reply. It’s just under 4 acres which is a good size for us to manage. I keep bees and chickens and goats but mainly we grow food crops for ourselves and the farmers market. It’s modest but it’s ours 🙂 I’m from a big city but it never quite suited me. I wish you success in finding your own farm when it’s the right time for you 💙
