I've gotten into it after BG3 and I have restarted at least 10 times by now and I haven't even made it out of Fort Joy. Its crazy out here.

How are you liking it now? I’m on the verge of buying it now but not sure yet. I have over 600 hours in BG3 and I’ve got platinum and gotten my gold die for Honour Mode on PS5 so I’m pretty sure I will enjoy the game but looking for feedback.
@XYVTN6 ай бұрын
@@kudzukid12 I have to say that I played it with 2 companions with the lone wolf perk, because I found that the party management is just extremely tedious. But even with that I loved it. Just get it, try it out and if you don't like the feel, refund it. I think the combat is much better, but when it comes to storytelling, its kinda dry in comparison to BG3. The plot itself is really good, but the presentation is lacking imo.

@@XYVTN thanks for the reply! One more question… I don’t have a PC so I’m divided as to which system to buy it for. It’s either Series X or PS5. Do you have any suggestions on which runs and plays better? I also own a switch but haven’t really considered it as I rarely use that console.

@@kudzukid12 That I don't know. I only played the game on PC, you should just google that. Im sure you can find a good answer there.

I've also "restarted" so to speak but that's why you want to save every 3-5 hours on a new slot. That way if you miss something you can just got back to a previous save. I haven't gotten out of Fort Joy yet myself, but I've just about done every quest and am starting to feel satisfied with my time there. There's 25 save slots, use them! It'll save you countless hours when you screw up/miss a quest.

Some good tips. I watched this guy do a play through and he was set on his main character being a tank. Needless to say he kept getting annoyed that it wasn’t working the enemies never went after him he kept saying I need some way to make them attack my tank. Poor guy nobody in chat told him that tank build is about the only build that’s not really viable. Warfare has a provoke skill but I’m not sure that really does much. About not being afraid to start over if you’re only on act 1 I couldn’t help it I kept wanting to try different build combinations and try all the skills and talents I had two different profiles all save slots filled up with teams I’ve been through the first act more than 30 times that may be a bit much but i just really enjoy this game.

Yeah, I was just playing and ended up doing it on accident. I'm playing a sneaky bones boy and just simply snuck out while looting. Thanks for the video though. I've had way to much time leaning from trial and error and the video helped clear some things up for me.

Fun fact, if you sneak out of the fort unseen, then sneak back in. The magistars attack you.

for the 18, I wanna add the extra thing: 1: when u summon totem or incarnate, it will instantly have its turn after u, but after that it's turn like normal, which usually be last 2: when characters or enemies join the fight after it has begun, they will be the last to move, include those who r resusrected in same turn (the exception r some script event happens in a fight, or when delay character hasnt move yet) how to take advantage of that? a character in the battle will move last by delay the turn, and another with high inititive (even better if it's glass canon character) will join the fight after everyone but the delay character move, and that newly-joined character will also take a move next turn the other application is character revival, when reviving a death one, they will be put in last line, which make them the priority target for enemies since they usually will have little to no armour left, so instead, we could have character that cast the resurrection scrool delay turn also to mention something: constitution (or HP) in this game is not that necessary, the physical/magical armour is much more important since it prevents CC there is only few important things that for putting point in constitution, 1 is if u intent to use shield; and 2 is with unstable talent

I just want to mention for people like me who absolutley hates the controller. Well guys, borrow a controller from a friend, this is changing the experince of the game totally, it makes it less clunky and the controls are so easy. Me having almost 0 experience with the controller, I finally found use for it. Just try with any controller and you will see what I mean. And thank you very much for the video. Great work! Appreciated.

Went from D4 to this game and wow it's a drastic change lol. D4 is just pure combat and DoS2 feels like I spent a whole session in dialogue. Nice world building & feeling immersive but can burn you out and make your play sessions shorter but love opening up this game and seeing where the exploration takes me.

I'm on my millionth playthrough and instead of starting over again I made a lone wolf pt on the side plus another with the rest of the cast so to speak. That way when I'm a bit burned out on my main pt I just load one of the others and proceed with those. This is my first crpg and only my second ever game so it's been a wild ride and a steep learning curve but I love this game so much. Finally at the end of act 2 on my main pt

A couple of things: Some scrolls cost you less AP compared to normal skills, like Decaying Touch. If you are going for max exp to make things easier make sure you go for it in act 1 and 2. Exp is not that important in the remaining acts.

Not bad. I will say this for anyone who watches this video and come read comments. Some of these points are good while others aren't. If you play the game it is best to start with a custom character. If you aren't in multiplayer then you don't need to worry too much. Main thing is that you can play this game any way you want. If you are going with a party more then 2 people make sure you don't have damage mixed. So having a magic attack with physical attacks are pointless because you can damage your friends with those magic attacks. Just know Warfare makes all your damage higher but it won't work that well with the magic abilities. If you want to have high damage with magic then pick the best ones that work together like pyro and geo. The story will always feel long but your character you play doesn't matter what matters will be how you build the character in your own eyes. You will always have the problem to build every character and you will control everyone in your party. So knowing how to sneak around and be a thift will help with any money issues and to be able to steal gear if you can't afford it. Just know it is a lot to the game of Divinity Original Sin 2. Like Necomancy does physical damage but is boosted by INT.
@Lebensmude10 ай бұрын
I accept the criticism, but I will retort your points as to why I included them in the video. 1) Starting as Origin provides more story, thus creating more content. Objectively, this is better. Going custom is subjectively better if you wish to roleplay with your own creation. 2) Damage mixing is fine as long as it is not 50/50 in most cases. You will come across enemies who will resist one damage type or another, or skew toward weakness with physical or magical, giving more opportunity to take advantage of such weaknesses. Having specific characters geared toward physical or magical damage is not inherently bad. It becomes bad when you split a single character between physical and magical equally (aside from physical w/ Necromancy, that is the exception). 3) Warfare multiplicatively increases physical damage across the board. Necromancy is the only school to be increased by both Warfare and the Intelligence stat. Pyro/Geo/Aero/Hydro are increased with Intelligence and their respective schools. Pyro/Geo and Aero/Hydro are the typical compatible combinations in terms of interactions.

Realising that was really frustrating for me. Especially as I finally got into the mechanics, proper fight initiation and logic builds (imo, lol) just to face enemies along the main quest in act 2 who are always at least 2 lvls higher than my party. Even seemingly harmless encounters lead to death in this game. Some freakin scare crows have beaten the crap out of me out of a sudden wtf is this game?!
