I really wish these videos were checked before posting. Just when I'm thinking good info, a photo or inaccuracy in audio has me thinking...who does this, wth?

Smokey Robinson and Berry Gordy did the dirty on the Marvellettes, who gave Motown their first number one record and never received credit for it.

@@stewartfenton7660 How many hit songs did Smokey Robinson wrote? 4,000 songs can any one other than him have been successful and beat that record ?

@@MariaVelazquez-m1g You do have a point. Maybe it's not relevant that the Marvelettes got a friend to write "Please Mr Postman," I don't know. I don't decry Smokey's talent and success, but they don't excuse his seeming complicity in Gordy's unpleasant treatment of some of his artists. Yes, you could ask me for examples. Or maybe you know already. But it's all on record.

Quincy Jones is being referenced when talking about James Earl Jones' story...

Yeah....I really hate it when folks don't do the research for readily available info. Hes been in the music/entertainment industry longer than 50 yrs. Jones came to prominence in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor before working on pop music and film scores. "Quincy Jones has had a prolific career that spans 70 years and includes significant achievements in multiple artistic mediums, such as becoming one of the first African Americans to hold a top executive position at a major American record label, producing Michael Jackson's all-time best-selling album Thriller (1982)."

The person I do not understand is Quincy. His dress code, he loves colours. I recall he married 3 times, dated actress Natashja Kinski & had a son Kenya that is dating actor, Will Peltz. A big talent.

We need to stop gossiping about rumors that have never been confirmed, they try to tarnish his career and he is more richer and one the top actor in Hollywood, that have done great roles

The editing on this video is atrocious, mainly in terms of the script, but also with the visuals. The script has repetitions, as well as glaring omissions and mistakes, and that makes it painful to listen to. I appreciate the video but it could have been SO much better. This is just lazy work, in many ways.
