Bri, I have 8 children (all adults with their own children) and I still remember with love, the chaos. I don’t think we hear it….interruptions, constant, but the beauty of a large family surpasses all negatives. 😊😊😊

So true! I had 8 kids too. And lived on a farm most of the time. I grew a huge garden and had animals. I never heard of batch cooking until they were all grown but it's a great idea.

Never tried granola in the crock pot - but now I will. My latest truth - If Bri can do it - so can I, with no babies, no time limit, no excuses! You are so smart to think of and then live out the saying, you don't cook like a chef but like a Mom!

That was a lot of food to make in one day especially with all of the 'help' you had. I love that you don't get upset with kids sampling your cooking and that they love your cooking enough to want to taste it. I think you're doing an amazing job.

I haven't looked at the video yet. I just realized how happy I feel when I see your smiling face, I guess like a kid seeing their mom after a break. I am so glad you are back and grateful that you decided to carry on with us in public. You were the first homestead channel I followed and the first time I saw a mom being good, loving, kind, and compassionate toward their kids. It was healing to me in many ways. Thank you for being so vulnerable. I rinsed the egg shells and let them dry on their own then blended them into powder to put calcium in the soil. Also let banana peel dehydrated, turn it into powder for potassium in the soil.

I wish i had known about breakfast casseroles and sheet pan pancakes when my kids were little. I was raised in a house where you had a choice of toast or cold cereal and you only got eggs and burnt bacon on Sundays. I was 20 when i ate my first cooked mushroom i had never tasted anything so good. Your kids will remember you taking the time to teach them how to cook. Your young helper using the grater and actually watching his fingers was beyond cute. And introducing your kids to a variety of foods such as kale abd peppers.

And the raw egg never bothered us. Crush it while it is just used and spread it and wash your hands. You do you girlfriend ❤ blessings from a hot South Africa ❤️🌻

Yessss I like to season my meat well while it is still raw; that way the meat itself is well seasoned throughout. Often ill super season spaghetti sauce meat then let the flavors leach out of the meat into the sauce as its cooking.
