Does Gizzard Shad (Kohada) taste like Saba Mackerel?
@jennyfoodtravels26 күн бұрын
Completely different! Especially in this case, Sushi Ren's Saba is meaty and fatty while the Kohada is lean and powdery

I'm sorry, but it's only possible in Japan to want English in response, but in Korea, it doesn't make sense to want to respond in terms of language I respect other external evaluations haha

I understand it’s not common for all staff to speak other languages, but I do need to rate it from the perspective of a typical tourist. My rating and explanation aim to help those interested in dining there understand the situation and know that the staff only speak the local language. Even in my videos about Tokyo, when the staff don’t speak other languages, I mention it and deduct some points for the service. I hope this explains where I’m coming from

In fine dining such as Contemporary French Italian, head chefs and English sommeliers who have trained in Western countries are very experienced, so you can respond in English in Korea Other than that, Sushiya will not be able to meet those conditions

I don’t expect the chef to know the name of the seafood in every language, but since sushi is Japanese cuisine, I do think it’s reasonable to expect the sushi chef to know the Japanese name. Just like I’d expect a chef to know the French name of a dish at a French restaurant

I think it's right to give a light guide to the name of the food or dish Just a simple nod, a greeting, a hospitality when you leave. I agree with you It's not going to be that hard😮

It's a bit unfortunate that the restaurant industry has put personal thoughts without confirming various information because the situation varies from country to country

There are many better sushi bars such as sushihane, sosuhon, and sushiin, so I hope you succeed in booking
