I ordered the 20", absolutely excellent cymbal. I have the Lemon 18 and the ATV is just too expensive compared to the unlock. They had a bit of a delay in delivery but I received a response and updates from them all the time, overall the service was good... I believe they will improve over time. There is no doubt that their 20 is simply doing a good job. Cheers

I like the smooth surface as apposed to the faux lathing,nice clean look, I spent too much on my kit already , so won't be getting these any time soon, but they seem really nice. Thanks for the review.

Seems a great deal! I have the TD27KV with the digital ride but I am going to be doing a D2A conversion kit and this would be nice for that kit. All grey! Thanks bro. Keep up the good content.

Nice review! The only thing I wonder about these is long term reliability. I mean like 5+ years. I have Roland cymbals I bought used 6 years ago that still work work perfectly. And I beat on them pretty good. If they last that long do a follow-up review.

I agree. As with any electronics that you’re continually whacking with a stick, long term durability is an interest. I have one Roland cy-5 cymbal that crapped out after about 3 years, so I’m hoping these ,ale it at least that long. I’ll update if there are any problems. Thanks for watching!

great review! I looked up that Unlock has a whole kit called the V506 that looks pretty nice in comparison to the lemon t950. wonder how they compare?? any thoughts?

Great review, many thanks! I have a set of Lemon cymbals but I'm not convinced about the feel (they are a bit too rigid), would you recommend buying these instead? Is there much of a difference to make it worth the extra money? Cheers

The unlock cymbals definitely have more “wobble” when you hit them than the lemon cymbals. Outside of that, I find them to act very similarly once dialed in. If your biggest issue is that the Lemon cymbals are too rigid, I think you’d be happy with the unlock lightning line.

@@myfavoritedrumgear thank you! Another issue is the loud acoustic "thud" of the lemon cymbals, but I see it's not better with the Unlock ones unfortunately!

I am still using the 20" and two 17" cymbals as 2-zone crashes. They are all holding up just fine!

I have a Roland TD17 kvx2 and i want upgrade the hi hat and the ride. Do you think is it a good combination UNLOCK LIGHTNING MONSTER 14 HI HAT and lemon 18”? Or both unlock?

I haven’t played the monster high hats yet, but the lemon 18” is a great cymbal. I like this 20” ride though too!

I am. The folks at Lemon are working through some small updates to their kit and module, so I’m waiting for that to happen first.

I have a dm10 and the cymbals are really bad. Half the time k hit them they don’t trigger or make a sound. I looked at these cymbals. Did you have any missing hits. Or do they trigger everytime. It has to be the most frustrating thing to not get the satisfaction of a smashed cymbal.
