Silas, sometimes it is interesting just watching a guy doing ordinary stuff. This video took me back to the times when I tended a wood fire, and that has been a long time ago. It was at our cabin by the lake. It was at about at a 3,500. ft elevation and the fireplace was our only source of heat. Even though it got in the 70's in daytime it still got pretty cold at night.The last time I was 20 and I was due to report for induction in the navy it was 1964.It takes me back a ways. Thank you for the reminder. 🤠👍

Geez Silas you can make cooking in a bus so cool. Good eating.
@Itsme999257 ай бұрын
I really like your bus. Super that you made a stove in it that you can also cook on. Maybe it would be cool if you made a bench in it, made from a sawed-off nose or trunk of an old car or truck. Or maybe you could make a table out of that. And that steak... yummy... that looks tasty. Thanks again for your cool video! Super!

Oh Silas. You need a dedicated toolbag to keep in the bus. I see much work needing done to convert into a good usable little cabin/bus. Pulling more seats out and putting a bunk bed or two in case you decide to have the little ones stay over. That steak looked delicious. Spring is just around the corner. It'll be time to replenish the morels soon enough.

That Kansas license plate reminded me of when our family was back in Kansas, my Grandma was going to a rest home in town,, Clay Center, and they were closing down the farm. I went searching for stuff to take home, and found a license plate from 1933. Ah memories.....

I never cared for steak, then one day I got a steak that was cooked right and I fond I really liked it. I had been eating steaks at my in-laws, and my father in law liked them almost burned. We never had steak around our home when I was a kid there was to many of us. Mother tried to make the money for food go as far as she could so steak didn't make it to the table. She could stretch that food dollar a long ways but steak wasn't on it much. Daddy was like me he didn't like steak because he had never had it cooked right. I think he ate it some in restaurants later in his life after Momma had passed away. He went out to eat a lot then. Stay safe, and God bless. Dan 🇺🇸

😱 That's quite cold! By the way: Minus 18 degrees Celsius is the lowest temperature I ever experienced in the middle of Germany. Absolutely everybody was inside but I enjoyed splitting and sawing firewood for my neighbours. On the third day the wood froze (I never experienced that before) and the tablesaw was no longer able to cut it. The saw blade screamed pitiful. 😱🙈 Best regards, luck and health in particular.

I roasted up some natural casing vienna's put em in potato rolls and covered em with a NYC street vender red onion relish I made up a couple days ago. With a cold beer we both had a nice meal. And yes Jones pop is good. Ya should mop up the grease in your steak pan with that sourdough bread. Fun vid Silas. Cheers 🍺🤛😎👍

Gotta watchout with those wild mushrooms- an Aussie woman was charged late last year with 3 counts of murder and 5 counts of attempted murder over 2 seperate incidents of feeding people poisonous "wild" mushrooms. She killed her ex husbands parents and his aunt, the aunt's husband survived after hospitalisation. An earlier poisoning was connected the year before where others survived and charges were brought from that also. I never liked mushrooms.....
