The point of scene was conflict between her and Tenzin. Between her enjoying modern pro-bending way of training and Tenzin traditional way of training. Conflict between modernity and tradition. Most importantly, Korra apologized for the entire incident at the end of the episode. She and Tenzin learned to respect different ways of training.

I don't think it's funny in a way to watching the Avatar Korra acting most of the time like an angry goat 🐐 with brain smaller than a size of a peanut 🥜 , failing again and again in almost everything she's doing and I lost count the times she received the comment and admitted to herself that's she's the worst avatar ever 🤷 I loved Aang and his story 10/10 but Korra is just 2/10 for the effort. There are serious narrative issues in the Korra series and having a protagonist with anger management issues it's not funny at all. 🤷
