I have always loved Gene Tierney and her movies. For someone who was struggling with mental health illness, her performances were superb.

At that time mental health issues were not addressed, and that is so sad.

The circumstances of how Gene Tierney”s daughter was born handicapped is absolutely heartbreaking. She was exposed to measles when a fan, who knew she was sick, approached Gene and asked for a autograph. She obliged the fan and passed the virus on to her unborn daughter. Some people like the fan have no consideration for others. Gene paid dearly in this case for being famous. RIP Gene . You shared your beautiful gift with us for many years. We were blessed.

Im surprised that you didnt include Patty Duke who was a tremendously popular performer and became a bold and effective voice for those with Bipolar disorder and other conditions.

Seeing the segment on Veronica Lake brings to mind a contemporary of hers at Paramount who could also be included here: Betty Hutton.

Why wasn’t Patty Duke included? She brought public attention to bipolar disorder better than anyone.

The amount of misspellings and mispronunciations give away how many of these narrated videos are now handed over to AI. Arent there any humans online now?

Im pretty sure that Brando had a narcissistic personality disorder and/or borderline personality disorder long before he became an actor. He was a good actor, but his personal life was an absolute train wreck.

A good part of the section on Gary Cooper includes footage of Cary Grant.

The captions are horrible. Would have been nice if someone had taken the trouble to at least spell these peoples names correctly.

Many of the photos of Robert Walker used in this video were of his son, Robert Walker, Jr, who gained popularity as a Television actor in the 50s and 60s.

especially, but by many others. He was the first “teen idol” and had to do a lot to get there. Oh, ugly world of greed.

Youre talking about Robert Walker Sr, while showing pictures of his son.

Judy Garland died at 47? She looked so much older. Wow!

Yes, compared to her age of 47, she was very old at that time.

Being very selective in choosing who is very talented or not to me it seems that all these performers had only the talent of drinking alchol and taking drugs. I feel that the word "talent" is overused nowadays.
