1. Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever 2. You're stronger than you think 3. Family is everything 4. Mental health is important 5. It's okay to not be okay sometimes 6. Stop giving people chances when they don't deserve it time after time esp. when they show their true character. 7. Pray for everything 8. Don't dwell on what hurts you and what you can't change and move on but take your own time to heal 9. Don't let people question your happiness 10. It's okay to ask for help and receive help 11. You may not know what's always best for you so trust God and his plans for you 12. Change is inevitable 13. It's okay to outgrow people 14. Real friends will be there for you through thick and thin 15. Trusting God leads to ultimate peace 16. Focus on yourself and your goals 17. It's okay to be uncertain and not plan every moment in your life or else you will be disappointed 18. You're still young so enjoy your life! Recognize the blessings in your life and know there are many years ahead 19. Sometimes silence gives you all the answers you need 20. Healing isn't the destination, its a journey.

For me being alone was a great experience. I learned that I like being alone. I like not having to do for someone else. I enjoy these freedom to do what I want and with whom I want. I love turning off my lights and no one complains. It's the simplest of things in life that makes me happy and most of all I make me happy. Women need to learn to be happy within themselves and then others can share somewhat in their space.

Literally talking to the Screen , saying YESS , FACTS to each point! Especially, the expectations of your emotions when trauma happens. At the end of 2019 entering 2020 , my husband and I both got laid off from the same company . His boss , was so shook that we handled the situation so well and friends and family too. The boss asked us are you guys taking happy Pills ?! Honestly , it is our faith that got us through the uncertainty. Alhamdulillah always will forever be my motto , good and bad events , Alhamdulillah because different events help shape us and make us stronger . Much love for you and your strength Mashallah. Wishing you many more blessings in 2021🙏🏽✨

Although it wasn’t a marriage, I went through a break up myself last year and along w the manic year itself, it was difficult and something I wasn’t expecting. I’m still healing from it. Like you said, it’s a journey....don’t let anyone rush, digress nor shame you for the way you choose to express or manage. ‘I am not going to apologise for being emotional.’ -just what your soul needed to hear me thinks 🥰

Aysha, you are a true inspiration! I love to see the growth that you have experienced in 2020 Masha’Allah. One thing I have learned this year is how growth is also not a destination but a journey and that sometimes we may feel stagnant in our growth because we start to feel affected by our past traumas. That doesn’t mean that we are back to square one in our journeys, it just means that we are human and we must continually work to bettering ourselves for ourselves. I look forward to seeing the blessings and lessons that this year holds for you!
