I have found that it is better to book directly with with the airline. I make sure there is 3 to 4 hour layover so I know I will make my connection. I check in online as soon as they let me and I also head straight to the gate once it's known. I just recently was traveling to Italy and there was a layover in the Netherlands. I never would have found the gate for my connection if I had not asked airport personal. I also had to go through security before getting to the gate even though I had just got off a plane. All your tips are very spot on, and I will be using all of them in a few months on my way to Europe.

Very good tips! We were in Newark & our gate changed on the board, we moved over there, then it changed back. Crazy!!! Hope to never fly out of Newark NJ again. Ever.

The first twos mistakes I’ve done that and gosh my flight ✈️ didn’t went too well. It was stressful cause found out I had to pay extra for luggage in Peru for $65 and should pick seat early cause I didn’t get seat w/ my family.

P.S. My layover is very short on the way there. Just made it last time. But Korean Airlines said if I miss my flight they will pay for and arrange the next flight....Which is about 2 hrs later. And I arrive late...But it's all good. That city never sleeps....

Portable Chargers cannot communicate so if necessary you CAN charge your portable charger using the USB outlets in the airport. Just DO NOT plug your phone into them. Nefarious people DO take advantage of that vulnerability. Thanks for the tips!
